Simply Catnip Premium Extra Strong Bud Catnip

Was amazing for relaxing my cats and it has a strong scent. After the expiration date though, it isn't as effective but that is understandable since it is expired. Pretty good catnip and it is a good amount to last a few months

My cats adore these little sacks stuffed with catnip. They rub, kick and lick them for a long time.My only grip is the colour. I mean cream?? Not an ideal colour and that the catnip was mostly powder. That's not how it used to be.

Our cat goes crazy for this!! We have a catnip toy we fill up with this brand and he loves it, probably the strongest reaction I've seen from him to catnip

As loose catnip goes, this is great. My cats have infused toys, but they love to eat the loose leaf stuff and roll about on it. I’ve bought weaker catnip in the past which was a waste of money, but this one hit the spot with them. 🐈‍⬛

I get the impression people are breeding catnip like they do Mary Jane these days to be stronger and stronger and not just a pleasant relaxing weed to bring out the playful side of the user. I have two cats, one of whom is younger and reacted like I'd sprayed strong perfume at her when I held the bag out to her. The eyes closed the ears went back, the tail bushed up and she sprang away from it. My older kitty is perhaps more of a catnip connoisseur, but even he isn't too impressed with this. There was no audible purring, no happy dribbly kitty response, only a bit of possessiveness of the scratching post and a loud yowl when I tried to stroke him. Not good stuff. Would not buy again.

From my two cats' perspective:Meowwweee, wow! The moment our human Mother sprinkled some of this in front of our feline noses we were both rolling around very happily on the carpet in our own little high and happy world. It was like Christmas Day and all birthdays at once and we almost did an excited cartwheel across the living room! We highly-recommend this seller and we hope, from our cute pointy ears to our long fluffy tails that Mother purchases more when this batch runs out because we have never rolled around so happily on the floor this much in our entire lives. We were in catnip Heaven and positively drooling the second we sniffed this wonderful plant (catmint). We've smelled some stuffed in toy mice before but this loose stuff is sooo much better; like the difference between cheap beefburgers and prime fillet steak. Its of a high quality.From the human Mother's perspective:As the owner of these two adorable talking cats, and the buyer of this awesome catnip, my package arrived very quickly (within 2 days of me ordering it), it's very fine powdery consistency is so much better than the other, coarser version I've bought elsewhere in the past that had sharp stalks in it (which I picked out and discarded, to keep kitties safe). It came in a thick, well-made container with a cloth pouch inside (which one of my cats chewed to a pulp so I threw the pouch out, lol), it is very good value for money and as there is a lot of catnip in it, it lasts for months. To watch my cats rolling around, meowing and absolutely loving this stuff. I had tears running down my face almost at how funny their antics were on the carpet once they began getting as high as kites on this product. Very entertaining!Update: I bought more when the first bag ran out and I'm sure I saw my cats out of the corner of my eye, grinning and rubbing their little paws together in blissful anticipation. I now buy this product on a regular basis, it's excellent, and I recommend it very highly to all other cat-owning customers.

My cats aren't usually interested in catnip sprays and toys and such. But thought I'd give this a go. They loved it it came in a lovely cloth bag I gave them some and put it in a draw and my usually good no trouble cats turned into demons when I went to bed pulled the entire draw out took the bag looked like they had a party when I got up first thought I'd been burgled everything tossed about the bag in the middle of the floor all soggy from cats saliver. Catnip literally everywhere like a catnip bomb had gone off and 3 very chill cats sprawled across the floor. Give it 4 stars as needs a more secure bag XD

My cats have always loved catnip, but the dried catnip I buy has almost always been very variable in quality.This stuff way over-promises and hugely under-delivers. After an initial few sniffs and tentative licks, my cats lost all interest. I also thought I might have a substandard sachet so allowed my subscription to deliver one more but it was even less potent.The supplier claims this is not bulked up with worthless chopped stems and yet that’s what I’m seeing loads of in both batches I purchased.Also, for some reason, the outer cardboard package which encloses a heat-sealed plastic bag of catnip to maintain freshness additionally contains an utterly useless cotton drawstring bag.If you use that to store the catnip it will rapidly lose any volatile oils it may have had. But the drawstrings are also totally useless as they cannot draw the bag even nearly closed and on one bag snapped long before being tight. The supplier should just delete the bag: it’s a waste of resources.But strangely, the heat sealed bag the catnip is supplied in was once a clip-seal bag. But because of where it’s been heat-sealed, you can no longer use the clip-seal. So one bag is utterly useless and wasteful, and the other bag is wasted because it’s been made useless! I just stored mine in a plastic storage box with a sealed lid.I only purchased this based upon the manufacturer’s claims. I hoped it would be a good substitute for my usual brand, Cosmic Catnip, as that appears to have been discontinued in the UK with just a few remnant supplies. Unfortunate, as it’s like super skunk for cats and lasts for ages in any stuffed toys.I wish I could award zero stars. This doesn’t work so the value for money just isn’t there and the totally wasteful usage of the plastic bag and the cotton bag mean I don’t even like giving it a single star.I do not recommend this; I clearly win’t be buying it again.
