Good gloves
Some people have disputed size - they are adequate for welding but if your working overhead your probably want longer. They certainly don’t seem short - value is great. For professional use these may only be a backup pair, for hobby use they seem fine.

Quality
I really like this product it's nice and and long goes all the way up the forearm stops all those little welding beads running down inside your glove and burning the back of your hand they're not quite a sensitive for what you're holding but you can't have it both ways they really are good value for money.

Cat gloves
Used these to handle our cats when needing to give them treatment or get to the vets. Not ideal but the final solution. Cats are ok with them too surprisingly. Got the tip from a vet.

Good gloves for DIY
Not exactly my size but There was no size 11 available so had to buy what was in stock. Gloves are thick to insulate well but at the same time flexible enough to operate MIG Torch. When welding didn't feel any heat transferred. For DIY people who weld from time to time small projects these gloves should be fine.

OK but hard to grip
My usageI got these for welding (beginner level).Although I can grip using these it's somewhat awkward. I'm using a gasless wire fed mig welder from lidl.Material/toughnessThere are several layers of leather/material, although I cut through with ease when holding an angle grinder, mainly due to them being a bit cumbersome.SizeI'm 39 male with not overly big/small hands. I usually take Large size vinyl gloves. These fit my fingers and hand size fine but I imagine those with bigger hands may struggle.ValueFor £7 and only occasional welding they're good but if doing more regular welding or grinding it'd be worth paying £20-30 for the longer cuff less cumbersome ones.OverallIt's not worth trying to repair the cut finger as any glue/thread will cost more than just buying new gloves. They are fine for welding, although I also found thinnish cotton gloves ok.
