At last!
I first saw these in, of all places, the Betterware catalogue. My friend had been looking for them so I got her a set. It never occurred to me to get any for myself. When I finally got a place with a garden, I remembered them - but then they'd stopped selling them. I searched for just over a year, but it seemed that no one in the world was making them any more - Google could only find two pictures and neither led to a "for sale" site. (It didn't help that the US has "rain chimes" in a wind-up box. And "rain chains" were *not* what I wanted, though I got more of them than anything else.)I was even starting to think semi-seriously of having a go at making my own, even though I've never done any metal craft work. Then I found the Grows On You gardening site; someone had asked about rain bells, and someone else had given the product name. I Googled it and found several suppliers and went with these - the others might have been just as good but this one had Amazon protection. They have two kinds: one of same-sized bells and one of different-sizes that would give different notes. I went for same-size as it was about half the price of the other! which was probably just as well - I have the bells, I've certainly had the rain, but they also need some wind to make them knock together and chime and I'm on an internal (sheltered) wing of my block and it's pretty wind-free - which is good, of course, but all the same ...Even though they only chime when I knock them while moving the plants around them, I'm glad to have them; they make a good ornament. And, who knows, someday I might move somewhere where I'll be able to hear them as they should be heard.

Cheap
I waited over a year for this to come into stock. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money now. The bells when I have to ‘ding’ ( they don’t move on their own like it says) sound very cheap Waste of money

Nice garden ornament
Nice sound, needs a good wind or blind dog to get it going, I have both

Not as big as I had expected, but well ...
Not as big as I had expected, but well made and once the support wires wereGently curved to give a gap of 2-3mm between the bells it worked very well. Our cat was absolutely fascinated and gently tapped the bells.

Disappointing
It's a lot smaller than it looks and the bells don't chime even on a very windy day. Overpriced

Rain bells make the garden musical
I had a set of these beautiful bells in my old garden and forgot them upon moving, took a few years to find another set. They aren't just rain bells which sound lovely accompanying the rain, they also jingle as people, dogs or cats pass by brushing them and sound so lovely.I am so glad i found another set and may even save for more.

Disappointed
I read mixed reviews about this product, many of them negative but, being an optimist, I ordered it as I thought it would make an unusual gift. As it was for a special occasion, and in light of the negative reviews, I decided to try them out in my garden first. I stood them on a raised patio to catch the wind and the tall plants there were certainly moving considerably. However these 'bells' did not make a sound. I tried all different positionings of the 'posts' the bells are attached to, even putting them so they were practically touching, and still no sound. They just didn't move enough and yet it could hardly have been a windier day. So disappointed and certainly could not give them as a gift! I considered keeping them for myself but decided that would only cause frustration, as you have to physically knock hem for them to make any sound. Wind certainly DOES NOT do it and so I am returning this product as the description is misleading at best! DO NOT BUY would be my advice.

Great original chime!
I love this chime! It doesn’t chime with the wind... it chimes with the rain.Put it out in your garden, and as the little cups fill with rain, they tip over to empty and swing up to chime with the others. Quite lovely and original! I’ve received many compliments!

Beautiful indoor art
Knowing that the chimes making sound outside might be an issue, I ordered these with the intention to use indoor as a piece of 'art'. The uplifting experience of the bell cups facing up and the ability to bend each stem works well for me. I have created a morning ritual of ringing the bells by placing my hand around the narrow section of the 'stems' and then closing my hand to stimulate the bells to ring. The sound is crisp and clear. It's a great way to start or close a meditation practice. And also to clear the mind on those days I feel lacking focus and energy.

Rain Bells
I had to spread them apart so they would move around easier. Sounds subtle when the rain hits them

Honoring my cat
We have always used wind chimes to honor our past away pets. These are so cool but the base is too light weight. The bells don't chime much , guess it's got to be super gusty out.

Lovely sound
These chimes make a lovely sound. Unfortunately the faux rock base isn't fooling anyone. They are too top heavy to put outside without securing the base somehow. I have them near a window and that seems perfect.
