Excellent Quality & Supplied With Assorted Fittings
Gas instant water heater (30 year old Paloma) in my mobile home went on the blink the other week. Narrowed it down to the thermocouple but as the heater is 30 years old good luck getting an original replacement for that. Took a chance and went for this universal thermocouple which is supplied with assorted fittings/adapters to fit probably all connection possibilities. Was not disappointed... it worked flawlessly and for less than £5 delivered it was an absolute bargain and a lifesaver heading into a bank holiday weekend here in Ireland. Took literally 10 mins to install and the water heater was soon firing again. Recommend 100%

Gas heater repair.
Fits a H&W Bantam wall heater without too much difficulty using the universal kit supplied. They seem to last around two years or so and are good value. If your pilot light won't stay on after lighting, this could be what you need, assuming you have gas safe engineer available!

Universal
It was not expensive and looks like a good quality part. Comes with an assortment of adaptor fittings but doesn't cover all possibilities. It does not fit Kingfisher 2 RS40 model if any one is interested. Delivery was excellent.

Does the job
Purchased this to replace the thermocouple on my Pitco fryer. It worked as described & I will be purchasing more.

Not universal enough
It's a bit difficult to complain if a "universal" fitting doesn't fit a particular. In this case the nuts which should hold the thermocouple were too small, and the fitting at the other end clearly didn't do whatever it was supposed to do, because the thermocouple didn't solve the problem (which was solved instantly when I finally tracked down the specific part for my boiler). However it seems well made and one certainly cannot complain about the price.
