This kit was recommended for our church and so far, it’s so very good. Multiple kits to choose from, sleek design, it makes the church look modern; very easy to assemble. You can connect it to the mixer and EQ it from there and there is a controller on the kit where you can make your own adjustments. We haven’t had it very long but we are very pleased with it.

Bought for son to replace previous set that were pads rather than mesh. Much more responsive and a better sound. Great piece of kit.

First time I ever tried an electronic drum kit. I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Quality is really good the mesh heads are pretty good at replicating the real thing but with them being relatively small you need to be a really good shot so as not to keep hitting the rims. Plenty of sound choices to play with. The only real criticism is the volume through headphones is quite low. Brilliant for practise but will never replace the real thing.

My husband has wanted an electronic drum kit for well over a decade because it is extremely anti-social to practice with his hand made acoustic kit in a residential area. He set it up to test it the day it arrived . I haven't seen such a boyish grin on his face for a very long time. I think for the money it is well worth eveery penny. He ran through some of the programs -he had a great deal of fun with number 17 (Bongos)- and he really likes the versatility of the setings. It's now been packed away again until Christmas so I might get back to you when he's had more experience with it. So far so good!! :-)

I have never played a real set of drums so I cannot compare it to an acoustic kit. To set up probably took about an hour to figure it all out and then adjusting the height and position once put together. It's great fun and easy to find drum tabs to learn songs. It's worth watching some videos to learn about the unit and how to do different stuff in the kit mode or learning mode. There's also lots of song tutorials for the drums you can find that are easy to play and sound good. There's lots of pre set kits and when learning a song or beat I scroll through to find closest sound to what I want. The pads are fairly quiet but the bass pedal you can hear downstairs so I added some foam boards under the pedal to drown out the noise. Really happy with the kit and lots to play around with to improve your playing and to find the sound your after.

I am overall really satisfied with this set. The hi-hat sounds can be a bit off-putting but for the price it handles alright, after some tweaking I managed to get it to sound and work just as I wanted it to. The mesh heads also makes it really nice to play. However, a few months in my kick pad stopped working and Alesis support took its time to respond and when I got the response it turns out that I had to ask for a refund from Amazon. This means that due to one part of the set being broken I had to send the full set back, get my money back and then re-order the same set which seems like more trouble than it would be to just be able to get a replacement for the single broken part.

Ive only had it 1 month but I am more than pleased with it. Internal sounds are a little digitally plasticy-tin-ee sounding and I mean only a little. I wouldn't use the module sounds for a professional gig, however amazing for practicing on just hope it lasts!!

My wife wanted a drum kit for Christmas, and we live in an apartment. As you may have guessed a drum kit does not bode well with neighbors. So after watching some youtube videos of electronics drum sets I decided this was the way to go. From my research three brands rose to the top of all the reviews. Roland, Alesis, and Yamaha. The Roland kits are pricey, but they get stellar reviews. Alesis was more affordable, and the reviews are awesome for them as well. I will be honest I did not read much into the Yamaha. I was already set it was going to be Alesis or Roland for my wife. After much research I decided the Alesis Surge Mesh kit was the best for her. It had all the features she needed, some expandability, and the reviews were all good! After she opened it, set up was relatively simple. Follow the instructions which are all in pictures. After all guys don't read the words in instructions anyways. Sat the wife behind the kit, and adjusted it to fit her. And away she went. This kit is absolutely worth every penny. The drum kit sounds extremely well. Could not be happier with it's performance! Some side notes though! So yes this kit comes with every thing you need for it, and it alone! If this is your very first drum kit you will need a throne, amplifier, and drum sticks. The kit does come with some wood tipped sticks, but in the reviews these are not the best thing for a mesh kit. My add ons to this kit! -Zildjan nylon tipped anti-vibe drums sticks. Made for electric drums, and feel awesome! -Simons DA50 Amplifier, this is a must if you want to hear your drums! Great little amp! This amp with the Surge Kit is a solid combo! -Alesis Electronic Drum Head Set. These headphones are designed for electric drums and sound amazing. Remember that part about us living in an apartment? My wife can play as loud as she wants and all you hear is the tap of the stick to the pads! These headphones are a MUST (especially for parents with young trainees :p) -Gibraltar throne... you got a nice drum kit.... sit on something that wont make your sore or tired! Gibraltar makes the best drum thrones. -Vic Firth drum stick caddy, seriously this is a nice addition to ANY drum kit. -Lastly get a quality 1/4" cable to go between the control and the amp.... Me estreno en esto de la bateria y no he podido dar mas en el clavo. Bateria de calidad, estéticamente inmejorable. Estoy disfrutándola como un enano. Una gran calidad de sonido. Además es poco ruidosa. Me atrevo a tocar mientras mi familia está dormida y no molesto en absoluto.

Comprata come regalo di compleanno, chi l’ha ricevuta dice che il suono è perfetto e non sembra nemmeno una batteria elettronica. Molto soddisfatto!!

Buena Calidad de tambores, no hay Crosstalk (Golpear uno y suena el otro) ni aun su otro sensor (2 por tambor) considero que los platos si están chicos pero ambos tienen silencio al apretar, un gran plus con BFD player y su batería de regalo, en cuanto a los Audífonos, suenan fenomenal, muy buen aislamiento y no te aplastan los oídos. Lo único que lamento es que Amazon no venda tom y platillo extra para precisamente este kit.
