Worth every thousand of the price

The Qingping monitor has been a useful investment for indoor air quality. We are checking it frequently for how much fine particulate has entered our sleeping area from a nearby window, esp after outdoor monitors report concerning levels (for that I rely on the PurpleAIr.com network). This little high tech device seems very responsive and believable for tracking a balance of air quality conditions, including temperature, humidity, CO2, VOCs and PM2.5 particles. The CO2 is a good indicator of how well the air is refreshed in a room, as breathing definitely raises the levels. The VOC measure is a general indicator of whether any sort of solvent is present. We find it interesting that it goes up in response to whether we have had any alcohol, but since it isn't a specific chemical indicator, it's more general for showing clean air status. The particulate response is very quick and is assuring if we turn on our room air filter fan when outside levels are getting dangerous to breathe and we can note that the values improve. The touch screen is very pleasing with all values present, including a clock display. The actual unit is small, so it can't be read from more than a few feet away, but the wifi connectivity is really great, so we have this device on our smartphones to easily access all the values, including a graph display of each parameter over time to show trending. The only minor issue to all the good stuff is that the wifi app is kind of insistent, making itself known on your devices by popping up over whatever you were doing online. No doubt there's a setting to change that. The printed guide that comes with it is in Chinese, but there's an online English version. If you just download the app, the setup is easy. There is a small fan drawing air through the monitor but it is totally silent.

De monitor is een beetje vreemd vormgegeven, maar werkt naar behoren. Sommige metingen heb ik wel mijn twijfels bij, maar Co2, Temperatuur en Luchtvochtigheid lijken wel redelijk in de buurt te komen. Ook fijn dat deze met Home Assistant werkt!

Es el segundo que compro. En un solo equipo se resumen los principales parámetros de calidad del aire y su conexión Wifi y la aplicación del móvil son perfectas. Encima esta vez (4 meses después) me ha costado 20 € menos (exactamente el mismo modelo).

Eine ständige Überwachung der Luftqualität ist für mich wichtig. Das Gerät gibt mir die erforderliche Kontrolle, an dem Ort wo ich mich aufhalte. Ein sehr ansprechendes Dessin mit Analoguhr findet bei mir überall Platz. Um weitere Räumlichkeiten zu überwachen, werde ich mir noch ein paar Geräte dazu kaufen. Schade ist nur, das der Akku nicht sehr lange hält. Über W-Lan habe ich das Gerät in mein Netzwerk eingebunden und kann über die App Qingping von meinen Handy aus die Werte ablesen.

I've been using Air monitor for weeks. I'm satisfied with ease of use, and the application works perfectly. It's like I can also see data remotely (Wi-Fi connectivity works well). I compared Air monitor's data with other manufacturers' readings - the deviation was insignificant.
