Bought this to use on a long road trip to power a laptop and tablet. Used the USB port for phones and it quit working without warning. Blew accessory fuses in my truck when it quit working. Going to return it asap.

Broke before I could use it!!!
The car Jack plug is HUGE and it BROKE. Of course I get it has a fuse within it, but I tried it on two sockets in my work van then another in my car it all three of them it wouldn't securely stay in place. Tried it one more time in my work van and the plastic had broken off of the tip. Which when I unboxed it worried me. As a frame of reference I am an Electrician so I know the importance of not forcing things and jamming them in to get it to work

Great stuff
Great so far. I've had it two weeks. I'm only running Christmas lights in my car for now but always turns on and runs great. Only complaints is fan noise is a little loud but that doesn't bother me.

Let the Buyer Beware!!!
Received date: November 27, 2017. I purchased this inverter to provide power to my iPad & iPhone chargers during long road trips. It worked upon receipt for 1 trip of 8 hours. Then failed. I purchased this item to replace an car inverter I purchased in 2005 because the cooler fan motor was starting to make noise on cold winter mornings. What a disappointment this Amazon purchase has been. I can not recommend this BrightUp inverter in any way other than a corded paper weight. John C., Tennessee

Great to use with a jump starter to keep lights when power outage occur in stroms.
Got this with a 4 in 1 jump starter for my car but use it as a extension so when the storm outage take out lights I can plug in lamps to keep lights as well as my refrigerator. My neighbor told me about this instead of a generator and it's awesome.

Runs my CPAP machine while camping / hunting in the woods
I bought this to run my CPAP machine and charge my cell phone and iPad. It works flawlessly for that so far. Seems well made.

It works as expected.Except the fan is very noisy. I put the device at the end of my wife's van and we could still hear the fan noise.

runs laptop, tablet, but it doesn't run my small car vacuum
I like this well enough, it can charge my laptop, tablets, etc, but I really wanted it to run my small car vacuum cleaner, like a heavy duty dustbuster and it doesn't. Didn't find out until it was too late to return it, but still I am happy with what it does. It's worth the purchase.
