Cuts tiles
Used this for trimming up some tiles in my kitchen. Works a charm. Wouldn’t imagine it would last long but for a one off it was great.

Great Cutter
Bought this to cut through some tiles and it did the job I wanted it for. So cant fault it.

Poor quality
Both leading edges of the blade were poorly covered with diamond grit and would be no use when moving to an edge to cut out grout. Much poorer quality than compared to a cheaper pack of blades from another supplier which showed excellent durability. Cannot answer longevity or durability for this item but if quality is not evident then these are immaterial.

Great blade
Excellent blade for a multi tool and goes through plasterboard with ease. Also good on brick if you go steady.

Doesn't cut easily through porcelain tiles
Good for softer ceramic but not much use on porcelain. It will cut them (more like it will wear through them slowly tbh) but it takes a while and you'll probably need several blades as the rough part wears off fairly quick.

Great quality.
Great quality item, fantastic price. A little bigger than I was expecting however it works just fine and made removing grout a piece of cake.I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, and it is definitely better at removing grout, than it is cutting tile. The tiles I have attempted to cut have ended up looking a bit untidy.

A good accessory to the usual blade kit.
This is a well-made item, one that I bought with a view to cutting through wall plaster to old brick, and for chasing channels for electrical cables. As such, it has so far met with my needs, with the abrading surface appearing to hold up well. It has so far removed a 4"square block of old plaster (to a depth of approximately 1"/2.54 cms) and chased back to brick to make a clean channel for wiring. I have not tried it for the stated use of tile/grout.In use, it does generate a greater level of dust than a bi-metal blade in plaster, and has shown that it will begin to cut into brick. I am not expecting miracles in terms of the blade's longevity given the nature of such blades, but so far, so good! It has certainly saved me from blunting other blades. As is the way with such things, patience is the key; let the blade do the work, don't try to force it, and that way the blade will be a happier bunny as will the user. At the price it represents a convenient and quick option over the old bolster chisel for my needs. It would have been nice to have a slightly more generous coating for the blade in terms of depth (5mm from the edge is OK, but 1cm might have been better in suggesting a longer useful life for the item?), but then you cannot have everything.
