I have no complaints whatsoever. I got an XL, I am 5'6.5 and probably about 145lbs, but that's not as important as that my waist is about 32". I'm not sure about my thighs, but you can see the picture and judge for yourself.The material is thick and sturdy/strong but not uncomfortable. The elastic could be tighter, but I don't think it needs to be and going down a size would be too small and you could easily replace it with tie-able ribbon. And... POCKETS! I do dress-up party entertainment for kids. I can now hide my car keys rather than keep them in the bag the kids are constantly raiding. Plus, they are always climbing around my skirts. These are a great way to handle that, and they'll be perfect for changing costumes in the street... no more being naked!I love them so much, I honestly could not be happier with this purchase.

I ordered an XL even tho I think I’m a normal sized person. My thighs have a circumference of 22-24 inches and it the shorts perfectly there and are super comfortable.They don’t go all the way up to my waist, but stop in my mid ‘muffin top’ area.They’re loose there even with the elastic, & my circumference there is 35in, for reference.I’m surprised that they’re comfortable and are not see through, but I’d recommend going a size higher even though they might be loose at the top because them Japanese girls do be having skinny thighs 😗

I am 5’6” tall, 160 pounds, 34 DD. I exercise 175 minutes per week. Usually I wear a large, but since I wanted to wear these as pajamas I went up to the XL. The elastic in the thighs was tight. I have muscle, but I wouldn’t call my thighs large. The elastic left indentations when I wore them overnight.These aren’t cut people-shaped with room for a backside, so the back seam was uncomfortable, too. I wouldn’t say I have a large backside either. Sir Mix-a-lot would probably not look at me twice.So I opened up the pocket where the elastic was cased and cut it. They are fine now. I don’t mind a little DIY adjustment at this price. They’re “poofy” enough to accommodate my backside without ballooning strangely in the front.I love the lace on them. It’s very robust. The pockets are almost big enough to get my whole hand into them and small objects don’t fall out of them.I’m pleased.

These shorts are so cute! I ordered them for a Victorian-inspired cosplay. I am 5' 6" and about 125 pounds, and wear a size 2 in pants and dresses. The medium fit perfectly. The fabric also feels thick and super high-quality!

This product is NOT 90% cotton!!! We tried dyeing it but the dye washed out everywhere but the lace. If the seller responds with what material this is actually made of I might consider giving you 2 stars. Thanks for ruining my day!

It stays in place and is very comfortable to wear even as shorts, I bought these to go under most of my dresses. they're all knee length. The thickness on them is very good for the material and is not see-through or super thin, I feel they're also comfortable to sleep in and they do not ride up my leg when I walk around

Like expected the thigh elastic is much tighter than the waist. The waist is fits loose but okay. I ordered 2 sizes up given other reviews and I’m a solid US medium to small and my thighs are still a little pinched. In addition the bottom is a nice cotton and feels natural but the top portion is a weird mix.

My natural waist line is 34 inches, lower waist 38 inches, and hips are 45 inches. I ordered the XL size and despite having pretty thick thighs they fit very comfortably and are super cute. Perfect for under the cosplay I bought them for plus a few others.
