Good product
Craghoppers Kiwi trousers are really versatile and are good for pretty much any occasion or time of year. Great for travelling, outdoor activities or just for everyday wear, as lots of pockets, most with zips for security. Easy care, so if travelling can even be washed out and hung to dry and will probably dry next morning, just a quick shake and won't need ironing. This is probably the 5th or 6th pair I've bought, as I think they are so good. Only criticism is that the side pockets have got a bit shallower; not a huge issue but a shame as not as good as before and if using for a wallet it just doesn't feel as secure.

Light and comfy
I bought my first pair of Kiwis about 5 years ago and now Kiwis are the only trousers I wear. This is the fifth pair I've bought, and I've just invested in the fleece lined version for winter. That first pair is still in regular use as my 'round the house' trousers. The only problem I've had with them is that the zips on a couple of pairs failed after a year or so. The stitching on one pocket zip also started to undo after a year or so. The material on current trousers is not quite as thick as on that first pair, but I still think they are really comfy to wear. I really like the zipped inner hip pockets that allow me to 'seal in' my keys and wallet. I love that I don't have to worry about losing them or having them lifted. The cargo pocket is big enough for an Ordnance Survey map. Cargo pant pockets are generally too small these days, but this one is big enough. I just wish they had one on each leg. The opening on the back pockets is a bit tight to get my hand in, but I can manage to extract loose change, so it's ok. If comfort, especially outdoors, is important, then these are worth a try.

HARD TO BEAT AS A GENERAL WALKING TROUSER
I have tried a number of different designs of walking trousers over the years but always keep coming back to the Kiwi Classic because they are soooooo comfortable and practical. That said, its not a 5-star review because there are pro’s and con’s. On the down side - I have two gripes: They claim to be water repellent but that is questionable. Maybe if you get lightly splashed you can quickly shake the water off and it won’t soak in, but take a walk through some long wet grass or walk in the rain and they absorb like a standard cotton trouser. So if you are looking to stay dry on a hillside, you will need an over trouser. Don’t mistake water repellent for showerproof – they aren’t. Unless I am the unluckiest shopper ever - Craghoppers seem to have a quality control issue. There is a wild variation in sizing that probably relates to which factory or which machine operator made each pair. I always order the same size and there seems to be no consistency in hip width, crutch length and the abdominal cut. Some come up really baggy and others fit like they are tailored for me. The only consistent feature appears to be leg length. So you may need to try on several pairs before you get a pair that suits you. On the plus side: Whilst I may be unimpressed with the water repellent claims, the claimed Stain Resistance does seem fair, because they wash up like new every single time. Really durable trousers that hold their colour well, with little in the way of fading or bleached seams/hems. Loads of pockets with good quality zips, nice iPhone 6 sized elasticated pocket inside the main thigh pocket. Good comfortable waist /belt line and really good reliable one-touch release belts included. They just feel really well made.

Extremely high quality and comfort!
It's difficult to describe in a few lines how a simple pair of trousers can make your life alot easier. Its unbelievable the quality of this product. Fast drying, lots of safety pockets with zipper, warm, breathable, extremely comfortable and lightweight. It's just one of the best products in the market at a very reasonable price and the best value for money.

The best thing about these trousers for me is that they ...
The best thing about these trousers for me is that they have been a standard part of the Craghoppers range for a couple of years and I can order them knowing exactly what I will get. Colours may be a challenge as descriptive names are often more creative! However, fit and sizing is certain and the material is light, quick drying, and hardwearing. Resists staining well and keeps clean(ish). The only modifications I make is for the leg thigh pocket which I use a lot - I add poppers as the single centre piece of Velcro is not very robust and quickly becomes non stick (all Craghopper Velcro seems pretty limp to me). There are 3 zipped (security) pockets. Good outdoor wear that you can rely on and which you can often purchase at half price online compared to shop.

Good solid funtional trousers
Comfortable and very generously cut, I stand 5ft 10ins with a 31inch inside leg and the short fitting fits me perfectly. I've found the regular leg length too long. The elasticated waist band also is good for those of us who are between standard waist sizes. My go-to trousers for both day to day wear (when at home) and long distance walking.

Very baby like clown pants but very high quality pants
The quality of the pants is superb with great flexible pockets and high quality material but the fit is unfortunately way too baggy almost like clown pants, I’m all for a looser fit but these are just enormous on the leg and flap like flags in the wind. Shame they don’t make them more fitted with stretch material on the knee and I wouldn’t wear anything else.

Good for the price but not waterproof and too long
Got the dark moss 29inch length version of these. They are about 3 inches longer than 29 inches so I ended up tucking them up inside some elastic round my ankles, army style. Pockets are quite small, so I felt more comfortable putting my wallet in the zip side pocket for safety. Not sure what other reviewers who say the zips pop open are putting in their pockets, the zips were fine! Trousers a little bit on the baggy side, which is a good thing for walking though if I was buying again I would get a waist size smaller to see if that was less baggy (and with the elastic waist I think it wold be fine) Also, on the walk were some deep puddles with snow, and the trousers soaked through on the first dipping, so definitely not waterproof, although disclaimer I did give them a short 30 minute 40 degree wash (using Fairy tabs, not biological) and so that might have had an impact. They handled wind okay though, and although there was snow at the top of the mountain and my upperhalf was a bit cold, my legs were fine. Overall I am happy with these as they did not cost much, look smart, are comfy. A little disappointed on the leg length and lack of waterproofing but that may have been my fault for giving them a (short 40 degree using non bio tabs) wash.

Great for Travel and every Day
I love these pants, I wear them almost all of the time. They wear like iron, but light as cotton, resit spills/ stains and dry quickly. They fit big in the behind- I had them altered. The front pockets are not deep enough, I had mine extended.

Hard to NOT wear these !!!
Craighoppers does a really great cargo pant for all purpose and nearly all season wear ! If you want lots of pockets in neat - looking trousers that can go from relaxing chores to concert hall...and maybe fishing as well , these washable , travel-able pants do it .
