Review: GREAT PHONE...go for it - Slightly heavier than normal but cosidering its shock resistant and waterproof its nothing to bother about...Battery life seem good..also my phone still worked in poor signal areas whereas other people with the latest suprdoopers costing ยฃ800 or more not working. All in all great value for money. Only problem is the charging point requires the supplied lead but other end is standard USB and this fits any adaptor including the sockets in my car. Review: 5 years on, it finally died - Great ruggedized phone, bought for a preschool worker and trust me, it's been through everything a gang of toddlers can throw at it. The battery finally cycled out of life, but for a low-cost phone it did brilliantly.

Great phone. Was worried about the size and bulk of the thing but I can still slip it into the front or back pocket of my jeans without it looking odd. In truth it is not much bigger than a slim phone that is in a case/bumper. Profession reviews will give you a better understanding as to what the phone can do but as a brief base overview - screen very good and responsive, build quality is excellent. Software is latest Android (as of July 2017) and it's pretty much the stock version. Didn't like the Blackview default launcher but this is easily change via the playstore (went with Arrow launcher which is very good). All in all a very good phone for the price and don't let the size put you off - bigger can be better!

MALWARE installed in the ROM from NEW.
I like the ruggedness of this phone, but there are some problems. Firstly, the screen is so sensitive, even with glove mode turned off that you can easily get double taps. However, this phone came with TROJANs pre-loaded. This is my first Android phone and I had not even registered with the play store or downloaded ANY apps, but new apps started appearing periodically. Why? WORSE, I'm in a business meeting when my phone screen turns on by itself and a new app has downloaded, started up the phone and full screen porn offerings starts playing. Seriously embarrassing and I lost that potential customer. That could have cost me thousands of pounds. I've tried to contact the manufacturer but they ignore me. I tried to post a question on their forums but the moderators never answer nor allow my question to become public. Executing a factory / rom reset does not remove the Trojans. Eventually I registered with the Play Store and downloaded a couple of malware detectors. Both say there are two Trojans in the phone ROM and can't be deleted. I tried to find an original ROM to download, but you need to register and the confirmation never comes through. I simply can't trust this phone since it could be spying on everything I do. If I hadn't had the problem I would love the phone, but I'm going to have to trash it.

Amazon service is great, Blackview customer service didn't respond
I have this phone for about one and a half year. Overall is good, quality of headset sound is very low. Sometimes you barely can hear another person. Also if screen is locked asks you not to cover area in red l, even though wasn't covered. Did freeze screen once, better than a Samsung. Battery life is great and speed of phone as well. Touchscreen feels too sensitive. I just dropped phone while ago from a meter high. Fall on screen on a hard surface, broke touchscreen digitizer. Ordered a new one from China, arrived in 2 weeks. Took it to service to change. They saw the brand, said sorry we don't do this brand. Than I tried myself. Taking apart was quite OK. When removed front digitizer, broke the whole screen into layers and pieces. So ordered another whole front with screen, but different colour as was this the quickest available. Contacted also black view customer service via their website, they never got back to me. If you want to phone, you can get but keep in mind that you will pay the price o cheap brand with zero customer service from manufacturer. Good luck.

It is a great phone, a little too big for your pocket
It is a great phone, a little too big for your pocket, but oh well, it's ok! Good camera, works fast, and I haven't tried the water proof and shock proof yet, but I suppose it will be ok! There was a bit of a problem with the sound of the calls and with the wi-fi and data button, I communicated this problem to them, and they promptly said that they would send a new replacement phone! They look really accessible :)

Works but barely
Got this phone after my Moto Z died following a small water spill, mainly because of decent price, durability and the nfc sensor. After a few months: - the NFC sensor is awful. Payment success rate is about 70%, compared to 100% on my old Moto Z. I have to carry card/cash now anyway in case it doesn't go through. - the phone seems to be fitted with a very low quality proximity sensor. Thankfully I don't make calls often, but when I do I have to put the phone against my ear just right, otherwise the screen stays on. Don't get this phone if you make calls regularly. - compass keeps decalibrating - I'm using it once a week or so and need to calibrate it virtually every time - low GPS accuracy, though I guess better than other Chinese rugged phones seem to have - UI freezes or restarts every few days, even when using lightweight apps - actual battery capacity is 4,160 mAh Construction is pretty solid though - I've been throwing it around a lot, and there's no scratches or anything. When it's not restarting the UI is fairly fast, so for a texting/media phone it's usable.

... early for a review but so far more than happy better then what I was expecting
A bit early for a review but so far more than happy better then what I was expecting. The only problem I had was I had to send one back as after an update the screen stopped working properly, but the new one I got works perfectly so far
