This syrup is a very flavorful and is quickly gobbled up! I've ordered it several times. I wish it came in glass though...

OMG! Very tasty syrup. Not overly sweet and a good thickness for pancakes or, our favorite, waffles. I will be buying more.

Reasonable price and really delicious maple syrup - sweet without being cloying, and superb maple flavor.

A little expensive but very good. The dark Amber is supposed to be the last of the sap taken from the trees because it has more essential vitamins and things like that in.

We like a dark and flavorful maple syrup with nice smoky, burnt sugar notes. The writeup on the Escuminac syrup made it sound dark, robust, and flavorful. It's not. To be fair, this is a quality syrup, light with a nice flavor. It's not at all smoky, but does have an interesting fruity note to the flavor. If we ate pancakes, we might like it. But for cooking and baking, it's just too mild. Here's a picture comparing the Escuminac with 2 other syrups we currently have that are almost gone. So for a nice light table syrup, you might like this. If you want a true dark syrup (previously would be called Grade B), this isn't it.

Most Americans do not know the difference between grade b and grade a syrup. what is sold in the US as grade A used to be rated as grade B. I am 79 years old and grew up on a dairy farm which had a small forest of maple trees. I helped in the harvesting of sap and boiling down into syrup. It takes 50 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup. Most American so called grade A syrup only uses 40 gallons.

Geschmack ist bekanntlich ja diskutabel, aber hier kann man sich einig sein, dass der Escuminac wirklich exzellent ist. Es lohnt sich ebenfalls, die anderen Sorten zu testen.

I'm a major maple syrup lover and got a three pack one of each harvest. Early harvest is very good, but the intense flavor of the great harvest, and oh Lord help me the best of all being the Late Harvest which has deep dark flavor and is just impossibly good. Asking for a litre of late harvest for Christmas just not sure how long it will last as I enjoy the entire bottle in tiny sips, I know lots of people have it with pancakes or other food or drinks, but it's so precious to me I can't mix it with anything, must be 100% just me and the syrup lol
