In a nutshell I loved this mug. Good size and loved the beam down effect. However I would say after 3 months the transfer started cracking up. Now 8 months on the transfer is peeling off. No dishwasher, little warm water, has been cared for and still ended up like this. Very gutted. No reflection on seller purely the quality of the mug. If you get one enjoy it before it wears out.

This mug is fantastic in every way, it's boxed is a stunning glossy box with images on, the cup is made to a very high quality with lots of detail in the images of the crew, you fill it up with hot water and the crew transports from one side of the cup to the other, we purchased this for a teacher as an end of term present and she said it's the best present she has ever received she even made a video of it to show it off.

I bought this mug for my father as he is also a big Trekkie, I used it quite a lot myself for tea and coffee. It works very well. Although, if your father is very forgetful when you warn them about 20 times not to put it in the dishwasher you'll end up with a lovely plain black mug instead...

Great mug and my Fiancé loved how it changed. However after a week and washing it very carefully the picture started to come off. That’s why only four stars. But I wrote to the company and they replaced it straight away. I cannot thank them enough for their fabulous customer service and promptness of shopping another from the states 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was sceptical about how well the mug would work but watching the crew teleport from the ship to the planet is brilliant. Its a good sized sturdy mug too.

I really, really loved this when it arrived. Such a great novelty toy. However, I noticed a small peel occurring on top of Uhura's head and under close inspection it was the transfer they'd used for the effect. I'd only used the cup twice, so this was a shame. I tried to seal it by pressing it back, but it was obviously separating as part of the heating process. I rubbed it with my thumb and it made it much worse, so either use this cup VERY sparingly or don't buy it. Adding to my disappointment, last night my dad put it in the dishwasher (it says on the box it is not dishwasher safe) and it hasn't just faded it, it has COMPLETELY DESTROYED IT!!! The entire transfer is gone. It's a black cup and there's plastic flakes inside my dishwasher. This product badly needs a coat of varnish.

Ich habe diese Kaffetasse meinem Mann zu Weihnachten geschenkt, da er großer Fan der original Star Trek Serie ist. Die Tasse ist wirklich super. Der Transporterraum sowie der außererdische Planet sind genau wie in der Serie. Die Figuren auch. Sie sehen eher wie Photos der Darsteller aus statt wie Zeichnungen (meiner Meinung nach besser). Der Effekt ist auch witzig, die Figuren werden vom Transporterraum zum Planet transportiert, wenn man heiße Flüssigkeit reinfüllt. Der Transfer der Figuren ist praktisch einwandfrei, allerdings fangen sie in der Körpermitte an zu verschwinden. Man kann die Umrisse im Transporterraum noch sehen, wenn man wirklich hinguckt. Die Planetenseite ist weniger offensichtlich. Die Tasses selber ist minimal kürzer aber dafür breiter als ein typischer Kaffeebecher. Füllmenge (bis zum Rand) ist etwa 400 mL. Insgesamt sind wir mit der Tasse sehr glücklich und würden sie empfehlen. // I bought this mug for husband as a Christmas gift, he really likes the STO series. The mug really delivers. The transporter room is spot on, the alien planet too. The figures are well done on the mug, they don't look silly or distorted at all, a bit like actual photos of the actors. The gimmick is also cute: they move from the transporter room to the planet "below" when the cup is filled with hot liquid. The transfer is pretty seamless, though they do seem to start from the torso and move out to the extremities. The outlines can still be seen in the transporter room, if you look closely, but it is not really obvious. The planet side is much harder to see the outline when the people are not there. The mug itself is a bit shorter than a standard mug, and a bit wider. It fits about 400 mL of liquid if filled to the brim. Overall we are very happy with the mug and would recommend it.

Che dire? Se si ama la serie classica di Star Trek questa tazza non può mancare. Ottima anche per un regalo ad un appassionato. È ben fatta, il "teletrasporto" funziona benissimo. Si può usare nel microonde, ma non nella lavastoviglie (questo dicono le avvertenze). Se vogliamo trovarle un difetto, è di dimensioni maggiori rispetto ad una normale mug, quindi per teletrasportare le figure intere bisogna bere tantissimo, dal momento che deve essere riempita fin quasi all'orlo. In ogni caso la consiglio.

Fue un regalo para mi cuñado. Creo que sí le gustó.

Me gusta mucho la taza, aunque todavía no le he metido calor...espero que la teletransportación vaya jeje. Me gusta especialmente que no se ve una foto cutre, esta hecha de un modo que parece un dibujo de calidad, no sé pero me encanta, tiene un aire retro. Además sorprende el tamaño, no es de taza estándar, es algo más grande. La recomiendo totalmente. Live Long and Prosper!!
