The cutting of my avocado, And me desperado; I dipped it in, And waited for the roots to begin... So now I wait, For it to cultivate. Then hopefully germinate, In which this product is great. Does what it says on tin. Roofing powder is never a thrilling purchase… it just needs to do a job and it does just that.

I have never bothered to use rooting powder before but this product came up whilst I was looking through the Amazon pages for some other gardening items. It was really cheap, had good user reviews, and so I added it to my order. This is a good size plastic bottle with a firm cap, so little chance of it opening and tipping in between uses. To use is simple, for a cutting you need only wet the end and dip it into the rooting powder (about an inch) and then plant it in compost. If re-potting a plant, it is suggested to sprinkle a little rooting powder at the bottom of the hole before putting the growing plant into the compost. Results - I wasn't expecting anything, to be honest. I had some plant cuttings that I thought I would test out and, within a week, they have trebled in size! This is huge compared with a few other cuttings that I had planted weeks ago and whilst they are growing they are still tiny. The cuttings with the rooting powder will actually need to be repotted now! All in all, my first use of a rooting powder and I am converted. This is clearly a great product that really helps with gardening.

Unfortunately I have tried this hormone on a greengage shoot that was greenwood, it hasn't helped it grow any roots but rather grow some shoots without roots. Then after 3 weeks the plant died on me. I only cut diagonally through the roon section, and dipped it in the hormone powder the let soak in moist soil. It is good value for money, there was no smell. The quantaty I have recieved were a one container of 75 grams. I am going to try it on another plant and I will update my review. Maybe it wasn't the best cutting. A guide on how to use for different methods of propogation would be useful.

worked perfectly and able to get a rose cutting rooted with a week. Easy to use and just follow the instructions on the label. good value for money to root your plants, however i only used for rose.

Super easy to use, it had other good reviews so I figured I’d give it a try. It doesn’t smell bad, and it works on most cuttings/propagations. Will update in a few weeks when I see progress.

i waited for a month to give the review as i used it on my grape vine cuttings, and to my surprise both 2 vines rooted and are going great. great product.
