I already had a Fisher bullet pen that has lasted for over a decade but when I saw the black cherry cerakote, I had to have it. This is a beautiful writing instrument. The surface is slightly rough, which makes it easy to hold. The color of the finish is rich and deep. Is it just a pen? Yes. Yes, it is. It's also one of those little things that make life a bit more enjoyable, using a fine pen that looks as good as it writes.

I love these Space pens. I can write on something damp and can write perpendicular or upside down if I want to. The ink will still flow. Very pretty burgundy color.

I bought this Black Cherry pen in June 2024 for $35.10(as a spare for the Fisher Bullet pen I was then using). It's now selling for near $100 !!!!! What gives ?? As far as the Black Cherry pen goes, I began using it in August 2025(when my sister-in-law 'acquired' my older plain black bullet pen). The finish is holding up extremely well against scratching and scuffing. I carry it with me every day in a front pants pocket. After retiring and no longer wearing shirts with pockets or sport coats, I found that typical pens had too much of a point and would often put a hole in my pants pocket so I started using Fisher Bullet pens and had no more problems. The pressurized cartridge writes on restaurant credit card slips when most of the pens they offer you, fail miserably. My only 'problem' is making sure my 'co-diners' return my pen when their restaurant supplied pen won't function.

I keep losing this pen every few years. I always order the chrome finish. This time I tried the Cerakote finish. It is really a big improvement for me over the chrome finish. It gives a slightly "grabby" feel to the pen and It makes it more comfortable to write with. It is not as slippery as the chrome finish. Needless to say the pen itself is great and the perfect size to carry in my pants pocket

Fisher Space Pen's aren't the best daily driver pen in my opinion but they are reliable. These are a part of history and certainly not the worst. I also swapped mine out with a blue, broad refill which I like better than the stock ink. The cerakote coating also makes it look cool. If you want a cool, interesting pen this one fits that bill.

I been on the hunt for an EDC pen small enough to fit in my pocket so I can carry it on my person. I've always liked my other bullet pen and saw these Cerakote ones. Unfortunately, I'm not sure these are actually Cerakote coated, or they just claim it, or they get the left over material from Cerakote. Either way after about a week in my pocket the Cerakote finish started rubbing off. Cerakote is pretty well known in the firearms space and holds up there really well, so to see it fail on a pen makes me wonder if it actually is Cerakote. While the pen is good and does what a space pen does, the extra money for the Cerakote coating is pointless.

A have a similar Fisher space pen (a black one), I know the deal with pressurized ink and the trick with small size/usual size, but this time I was kinda surprised — this pen have no clip on it. What you see is what you get, right, but…

Ein Fisherspacepen eben. Ich brauchte nur noch eine Mine mit blauer Tinte (weil ich lieber mit blau schreibe). Perfekt für's EDC und stört nicht in der Hosentasche.

My third space pen, love these things. They write amazingly, and are small enough to pop in your pocket and forget. I keep one on me at all times

I like the metal bullet pens (once accidentally ordered plastic... was not happy) and had to piece together (inc. ink) my tri-colored set of black, blue and red, but I'm happy with the set now (although paid a bit more of a premium for the red and blue pens)
