My dogs LOVE THESE
My dogs love this toy so much that I bought multiple ones in different shapes. I would highly recommend for aggressive chewers! They like to play tug-of-war and often (play)fight over this one. They love it. In the photos, you can see the damage they’ve done and this is after hours and hours and hours and days of playing.

Survived the Puppy Chewing Phase
This alligator toy is incredibly durable! It easily survived my puppy’s teething phase, which is impressive because we went through many toys during that time. I wouldn’t say it’s her favorite toy since it’s on the harder side, but that’s also why it’s held up so well. If you’re looking for a tough toy that can withstand heavy chewing, this is a great choice. The material is strong, well-made, and has lasted far longer than most of the other toys we’ve tried.

Seemed great at first, fell apart soon after
Update 08-11-2025 After two days the squeaker failed and the rubber nobs on the back of the toy started to chew off. This may be a great toy for your dog, for a dog like mine, there simply may not be a Squeaky toy build that will hold up. ---Original Review was 5 Stars read below--- I have a 90lb German Shepherd mix. He is a very strong chewer, but he just loves squeaky toys. Which at his current size is maybe 30-60 seconds of fun , then I have to throw them away because he's ripped them apart. Which not only can cause intestinal blockage , but can cause choking. 10-20 bucks for a minute of fun that is also a potential safety issue isn't realistic or smart. So far so good with this seashorse one, this is the first squeaky toy he's had that he stopped playing with because he was done playing. After a good 10 minutes of heavy chewing and it's still in tact. It's surprising heavy, which makes me think the rubber is pretty dense. I am still not about to let him chew in this unsupervised, as he seems to be able to destroy even "indestructible" balls, but It's definitely holding up, and he likes it. If it lasts a week I'll be happy with the purchase. If anything changes I'll update this post.

My dog is a very aggressive chewer.
My dog is an aggressive chewer and this lasted about 3 weeks before he started to get into the plastic and I had to throw away. It lasted longer than other chew toys so it was good. However the tail makes it easier for him to chew off into pieces. He gets nervous and needs to chew on something. I find the hard cheese sticks a better option for his nervousness.

Six Months Later and It's Still Going Strong...
My dachshund Maverick just turned one in June, and this has been his favorite chew toy ever since I bought it back in January. At that age he was going through the stage where he wanted to chew everything he could find. Shoes, cardboard boxes, furniture, and anything else within reach became a target. This alligator gave him something he actually wanted to focus on, and it quickly became the toy he carried around the house every day. More than six months later it's still holding up far better than I expected. It has plenty of bite marks and signs of use, but it hasn't fallen apart, which says a lot because Maverick is a determined chewer. Outside, he'll always pick a ball or another fetch toy first, but when he's inside relaxing or looking for something to chew on, this is the toy he always comes back to. It helped redirect his chewing away from things around the house, and now that he's outgrown those destructive puppy habits, he still enjoys playing with it every day. I'll be posting both a recent photo and a video so people can see exactly what it looks like after more than six months of daily use instead of a brand new toy straight out of the box. If you have a dog that destroys most toys in a few days, this one has been well worth the money and is easily one of the best chew toys I've purchased.

Hard Material and Has Held Up Well
I have an aggressive chewer, and this toy has lasted for us. That is usually the biggest test with dog toys in my house. The material feels like a very hard plastic-type material, so it is not a soft or flexible chew toy. For my dog, that has been a good thing because many toys do not last very long. I would not call any dog toy truly indestructible, and I still think chew toys should be checked regularly, especially with aggressive chewers. But based on my experience, this one has held up well and has been a good option for a dog that is tough on toys. Best For: Aggressive chewers Dogs who like hard chew toys Owners tired of toys falling apart quickly Possible Drawbacks: Hard plastic-type feel may not be ideal for every dog Still needs regular inspection during use

Zoomies!
Our male is on a mission to chew all of our dog toys into tiny pieces. When I presented this toy to him, he gave it a cautious sniff. His face lit up and he couldn't grab it fast enough. He spent the next five minutes running zoomies around the house with it in his mouth. So far, he has chewed off the very tip of the toy's tail and left some serious bite marks on the soft part, but the toy is still intact and continues to cause an occasional zoomie session. I think he likes it.

Heavy and dense
We’ve only had this toy for a couple days, but it may end up “disappearing” from the toy box. It’s HEAVY. My pup likes to throw things when she’s playing with them and I’m slightly afraid she’ll take out an ankle or a toddler. I was expecting it to be more like a pliable rubber, but the whole thing is dense. My pup enjoys chewing it, but after only a couple days she’s made some dents in it, so I’m not sure how long it’ll last before pieces start falling off. It doesn’t make noise, thankfully, but it’s just so heavy. If your pup isn’t a huge chewer and just likes carrying toys around then this is the one. Or if you’re looking for something inexpensive for your dog to destroy, this is it. It’s definitely not a favorite and I think that’s because it weighs so much. Plus it doesn’t squeak.

Lost a leg in 20 minutes
Was excited to try this toy, and it felt good quality. However our labradoodle pup chewed off and swallowed one of the legs in less than half an hour, with the talk also looking pretty rough. Our dog is pretty rough on toys but had hoped that this one would be stronger than most, who knew a labradoodle could out-chew the hardcore chew toys?!
