Rootgrow Mycorrhizal fungi for growing vegetables, it really improves plant health.
This is the first year that I've used mycorrhizal fungi for growing fruit and vegetables and it seems to have worked a treat. It'll help your seedlings and plants develop a healthy root system, helping them to become established. I've used some on potato plants, carrots, strawberries, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, chilli peppers and onions and all are doing great this year. There are some plants that don't like it but you can quickly Google and found out which ones these are instead of me listing them all here. I've used a couple of brands and they both seem to work well, however I prefer the Rootgrow because it's in a granular/fine gravel like form and so is easier to handle. The other brand is a fine powder and trends to get airborne more easily when applying. The 60g pouch works out really expensive and doesn't go very far at all. I bought it as a tester really. Far more cost effective to get the larger pouches or buckets depending on how much you intend to use. I usually mix a very small handful into the soil/compost around the root ball of plant when I plant out.

I used this with my new david austin roses.
I had 2 new david austin roses off their website and I purchased the rootgrow to put in the bottom of the holes before planting. Now this was a few months back because how do you no if something like this works without a bit of time passing. Both plants were fairly small but since using this and after a few months they are truly rooted into their HUGE pots. There's no wiggle anymore. The quality of the plants is also amazing after such a short time, both have put out loads of new growth and appear very healthy. I'd definitely use this again.

Not suitable for some plants.
Obviously they can't give a comprehensive list of all the plants that will thrive with this compound, sadly I tried to use it on my jasmine cuttings and it didn't work. So I suggest that you do some research on the plant that you're hoping to propagate if you're only likely to be using it for one type of plant. Happily I have other varieties that it will probably be successful with, but I haven't looked into that yet.

Water jug
Easy to use and set up, not as robust as the Brita jugs I previously owned, but good value especially the filters.
