This historic and traditional book retains its value in walking the Christian journey. It’s time to re-evaluate life - read the timeless words of scripture and the various congregational services for celebration and everyday. This volume is worth the money to set a new rhythm of life

Beautiful cover - easy to read text.
This is a beautifully produced edition of The Book of Common Prayer. Some have complained that the description of the cover as imitation leather is false. It may not be genuine leather, but it has a lovely feel and the description makes it quite clear that it is a hardback. The text is indeed enlarged, which makes it easy to read. As for the contents, I bought this not out of religious conviction, but because I love the language (the same reason I love the King James bible) I have no hesitation in recommending this edition whether it be to read at home or to take with you to church.

Lovely little book, very well made, and large font makes it super easy to read. There are also a bunch of blank pages in the front and the back of the book to make notes or add your own prayers. Also, if you are new to the BCP, 'Pentecost' used to be called 'Trinity Day'. So, if you are confused about the Anglican calendar it helps to learn that because this book calls it Trinity. I wish I knew that beforehand.

Have been wanting to explore this edition (1662) of the BCP, and this book is just perfect. Great, compact size; leather-covered hard binding; easy-to-read typeface. A volume that lies flat when open, which is really essential for a prayer book! I'm really delighted to have found this little gem.

It enhances my prayer life because it is the right size print.
I lost my own copy of the BCP that I’d had for many years so I bought this one. It is a great size and so is the print. I’m so grateful that I bought it as it helps me focus on my prayer time with God.
