Works on my large and small jars. Good vacuum. Useing it on an any non canning, dry storage. Like Rice, art supplies, cbd, etc.

I picked this up on the advice of a friend when we were talking about our meal prepping, canning, and general ways to stretch a buck in the kitchen. It deserves a review - this thing is great! What it does & how it does it: 1) Pop it over the metal lid (w/o the band part) on top of a standard or wide mouth canning jar —using the whole device for standard jar openings, or unscrewing and removing the bottom part to accommodate wide jar openings. 2) Press and release the only button on top of the device. 3) Watch the digital display count the seconds and finish automatically with a quick “poof!” decompressing itself from your lid/jar. 4) Lift off the device and attach your metal band (🤘) over the airtight lid. **when completed, the digital display will show the percentage of remaining battery life. Nice. 👍 Bonuses in the box: 1) usb/usbc charge cord 2) Wide and standard metal lids (no bands) 3) Keyring opener to remove tightly-sealed lids 4) Lid label stickers (round) Why my friends and I love this thing: 1) It legitimately does seal in freshness all by itself. —Kinda like a Food Saver/vacuum sealer does. 2) Perishable food lasts measurably longer and stays *fresh.* (Medjool dates and pre-dosed coffee are 11/10 in my pantry now.) 3) Easy, hands-free, and weirdly satisfying to use. 4) Less waste, but also ditching so much plastic by reusing glass jars and metal lids. Instead of vacuum sealing in plastic. 5) The pantry is tidy and I can see what I have at a glance in glass. 6) Battery lasts & the device is compact. 7) Intuitive - it doesn’t really need instructions. I’m glad I purchased this little guy. It would make a great, original host/ess or housewarming gift for someone who cans, or has a garden, a Mason jar collection, or runs a tight pantry! Works great and I'm pleased with how well it seals and its simplicity to use. My only issue is it takes 40 seconds to seal which feels like a lifetime when you're standing there, sealing a jar. The ads make it look much quicker. I'd planned to use it on every jar, but because of the 40 second thing, I'll only be using it for rarely used and/or bulk 'back stock' things. But even despite the 40 second issue, I'm glad I bought it.

Saw this on a utube review. I've canned all my life and used a vacuum sealer for over 50 yrs. so I can give an honest review. Always bought in bulk so vacuum sealing was just part of shopping day. This utuber was just telling people about this product, so after doing some reach I purchased AND Wow Wow what a unit. Really well made, sturdy extremely easy to use and unlike my large vacuum sealer its small and using it as easy as putting on a jar lid. The vacuum was extremely strong. To test product I cut up lettuce and also English cucumbers used sealer and after a week the produce is still fresh. This product is good for seniors that don't go thru groceries quickly. Just take in account you will need mason jars and lids, but the lids on Amazon 48 lids for $18 not bad when your not tossing out groceries. Also this product has a better seal and does both size mason jars.

This worked great for our garlic spread and infused garlic olive oil. Easy to use and works great for freshness. Happy with purchase

I’ve had this for a while and this is my first time trying it. I followed the instructions, wiped off the lid with vinegar, I charged it all the way to 100% As you can see, it makes no noise like the other videos in the reviews. I held it down and let it run for a minute and a half and it did not do anything. Unfortunately for me it’s too late to return this, that’s my bad for not trying it out immediately. I’m a little bummed out since I just bought a bunch of mason jars to start jarring. Moral of the story: check if Amazon items work ASAP.

Works well. Last longer than I expected on one charge. Great for dry goods and things you want to place in fridge for a couple of days. Just use and reseal . The rubber ring does come off with most jars but is easily put back on.
