Heavy and Solid!
Good quality. I appreciate that it has a shorted handle bc I view it as safer. Nice and heavy. I am sure I will use and enjoy this for decades to come!

Wonderful
Honestly, I didn't believe how fast you can cook a stew for two people before using this pot. Its inner chamber accumulates heat so well that even on a very small gas flame, the stew cooks in about 20 minutes. I purchased the appropriate cleaning soap and oil for cast iron, so cleaning is also a breeze. I cannot be more satisfied than this.

Great for the grill
This sauce pan was purchased for the grill and we love it! I think a sauce should be with every meal and when grilling i like to reduce that sauce. This pan heats well and holds that heat to reduce those sauces nicely. We love working with cast iron so this pan fit our needs perfectly. Always season your pan !

Not the Best Option to Pop Popcorn in
I ordered this pan to pop popcorn in. I needed something that heated evenly. I had another "popcorn" pan that lasted 25+ years. I am not the biggest fan of this pan b/c of the short handle. The pictures are a bit deceiving on that. The lid is not a tight fit, so popcorn oil "splashes" out of the pan. Otherwise it heats evenly. It is quite heavy. If the handle was longer & the lid fit better, I would love this pan. It just doesn't work for popping popcorn--what I want to use it for.
