When can I expect to see results?

With FryAway, oil solidifies at 100°F (38°C). Time varies based on the quantity of oil and temperature. Larger amounts of hot oil will naturally take a few hours, while small amounts are ready to toss in as little as 10 minutes.

I used FryAway and my oil is not hardening. What do I do?

If the oil is not hardening, there may be too much oil for the amount of FryAway added in. Reheat the oil to at least 170°F and add more FryAway powder based on the recommended amount per pack.

The oil got too hard and I can't remove it from my pan!

While rare, this can happen when too much FryAway is used for the amount of oil. Simply heat up the pan to loosen the oil and safely remove it without damaging your pan. Please do not scrape hardened oil without following these instructions.

Can the solidified oil be repurposed?

Yes! Oil solidified with FryAway can be repurposed any way you like, such as refined for biodiesel, candles, firestarter, and soap (just to name a few).

Why not just freeze the oil and toss it?

Frozen oil without a container will only liquify again once it reaches room temperature, causing an oily mess. However, oil that is solidified with FryAway remains solid and eliminates the need for a container.
