UTC Vogue - Fragrance for Women - 55ml Parfum de Toilette, made by Milton-Lloyd

I thought I knew exactly what to write for Vogue, but it has changed the more I think about it! My precious bottle of Chanel No 5 parfum is running somewhat low and, no longer being in a position to replace it, I thought a smell-a-like would make a useful top up. The more I read about Milton Lloyd perfumes, the more I thought I would have nothing to lose, and I'm pleased to say that so far none of the ones I have bought have been a disappointment. When I first sprayed Vogue (being careful not to overdo it as Milton Lloyd atomisers are renowned for their power!), I thought this was going to be my first disappointment. I wasn't expecting an exact copy by any means, but this smelt cheap and almost like it had gone off, it was verging on being sour. I resisted the urge to rush to the bathroom to wash it off because I know from experience that first impressions of a perfume are not necessarily the best ones and might not reflect what is to come... I'm pleased to say that it managed to redeem itself! As it died down over about 20 minutes a much smoother smell began to surface, the lovely powdery type scent that I relate to Chanel No 5. My nose has never considered No 5 to be floral, infact I can honestly say that I have never been able to pick out any particular smell, just one lovely overall scent. This is how Vogue became for me, just one lovely, delicious overall scent, sort of powdery, even very vaguely soapy, but very like the perfume I wanted a dupe of. It smelt expensive and I'm not ashamed to say that if anyone were to ask me what it was, I would risk getting a nose like Pinnochio to say it was the real thing! A couple of hours on and Vogue is still doing well. It has completely dried down and carries a faintly sweet, rosey smell that I have never had from the original, but it is still has that overall scent that I love. This one definitely has staying power on me. Will I buy it again? Yes, without a doubt. It is a lovely, classy perfume in its own right, and the smell belies the more than reasonable price tag. The fact that it is extremely similar to my beloved Chanel No 5 is the cream on the cake, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive replacement or who has never tried the original and would like to without spending a small fortune.

Smells like baby powder. I absolutely love it. Also did a side by side comparison with channel no5, smells so similar, this is the best dupe on the market. Quality of the perfume is really good and lasts long.

Vogue by Milton Lloyd is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance for women. Top notes are Rose and Jasmine; middle notes are Aldehydes, Ylang-Ylang and Neroli; base notes are Musk, Vetiver and Vanilla. Many of the ‘famous’ fragrances of yesteryear have been reformulated and today’s version of Ch@nel no 5 doesn’t smell anywhere near as nice as the original. Vogue is an inexpensive tribute to Ch@nel no 5 from the 70s/80s that I remember and wore. It’s not quite a dupe but it’s as good as. A beautiful powdery, feminine fragrance that has great projection and sillage. It is very long lasting especially if you spray onto a scarf or your hair. A little goes along way. I have now got it on subscription.

Definitely smells very similar to Chanel No 5 for a fraction of the price. A little more powdery when first applied but if you like Chanel you should like this

Nice enough perfume, but doesn't smell like Chanel No5 to me, which was the reason I bought it. Too powdery. Better after about 30 mins but not a good dupe in my opinion.

Wow I love this so much so I just ordered another one first spray and I was blown away it’s stunning first time I’ve ever bought this brand but I really wanted a bottle of C.5 but it’s so expensive this in its own right is perfect !! Smells expensive and for £5 omg you can’t go wrong even if it only lasts a couple of hours at this price you can top up . I often can’t smell my perfume on my self others do but not me this one I can actually smell it and it’s a real treat honestly I’m very impressed of hours

I haven’t smelt Chanel no 5, but apparently this smells like this. Honestly it smells like a mothball filled drying cupboard at your nans house she vacated 25 years ago because she’s now in a care home. I really tried to get on board, I tried to like it because it’s cheap. it’s strong I’ll give it that. My room stinks of it and I’ve barely opened the bottle. Maybe I’ll spray it on myself and see if it smells palatable. If not I’ll just smell like a dusty 1800s Victorian grandma that threw up so violently she time travelled and ended up in 2026

Beautiful it smells just like the real perfume but at a fraction of the price .my sister smelt it on me thought it was the real thing

Smells exactly like Chanel nr 5, I wouldn’t say it’s a dupe but the same one exactly. One spray is enough because it’s strong
