Why can't folk simply read the instructions?
These little devices work perfectly in the hands of people who know what they are doing. It is common practice to have to disable 5Ghz channel on WiFi when connecting a device that only supports 2.4Ghz. So why do some people appear baffled when they don't connect and pretend that they are so clever when they disable the 5Ghz channel, and then suprize - it works! We have a saying in the technology industry "RTFM". It really isn't complicated. Every one of these I have connected works fine and I have some over a year old and still functioning perfectly. They also integrate perfectly and seamlessly with Amazon Alexa too.

Works with smart life / tuyu app. So easy to set up and reliable. Very impressed!

No energy monitoring but otherwise seems fine m
Connects easy enough but note it doesn’t have energy monitoring at all.Fine for scheduling on and off or manually switching on and off but it won’t tell you how much power the connected item is using.

Easy to setup and use
Bought to replace a timer for a lamp wish I had done it ages ago. This smart plug is easy to setup and use and the app is also really easy to use. I have set a timer on the app so that the lamp comes on and goes off at those times. However I have also connected it to my ech dot so Alexa can also switch the lamp on and off when asked to do so. Just ensure that you turn off Wi-Fi on your phone when trying to connect the app to your router.

Not for people who don’t know how to use google
Dislike didn’t know how to use this product but fortunately my grandson did love it

Literally just doesn’t work.
Instruction it comes with say you have to have the plug right next to your router. I couldn’t get it to stay connected even when it was that close.

They're okay
Quite tricky to set up, but once they are, work as expected. Really convenient for not having to reach behind units to turn off the power.

Excellent for automation of basic objects
Works as expected, integrates with Alexa, easy to schedule, and even monitors power usage. Have used it to automate electric heaters in our home making it easier to track our electricity usage.
