STAEDTLER 185-10 Noris Colour Colouring Pencils - Yellow (Box of 12)

Great quality, value for money, looks nice and feels nice to hold.

I bought as a substitute for the use of black pencils as to keep replacing the one colour in my castle arts set was going be costly. So I bought these to try working with using castle arts pencils, I unfortunately haven't had fully test out yet but will update when do. But for price not bad, seems good enough quality. Colour seems ideal, but haven't blending yet.

Beautifully engineered German pencils. Easy to use for long periods, so very comfy. All in all, they're great value for money.

What's not to love? They're nice, sturdy pencils that don't easily break off at the tip (which is a problem I've had with a lot of other brands). Perfect for the budding artist in your life.

My children go through a lot of black colouring pencils in our house, and I bought this pack of 12 black Noris to replace some of our stubs. The packaging is a simple cardboard box, seeing that we only use one pencil at a time, it’s perfect for storage and we don’t need to worry about wear because essentially, it will only need to be opened 12 times to take one out. The lead truly is break-resistant as advertised, but that also means that the pencil puts down a very waxy line that is almost impossible to blend due to all the fillers. I suppose it would be alright if the colour was indeed black, but it isn’t. I put up a photo of swatches I made with other similarly priced black colouring pencils (Noris is the middle swatch) and you can see that it’s more grey, and has a matt looking glaze on the paper. Pros: Inexpensive Can buy box of just one colour Lead doesn’t break or crumble Cons: Very waxy Non blendable Not black Verdict: Average colouring pencils, not ideal for someone looking for vibrancy, but perfect for little children. At the end, I kept the pencils because I have a heavy-handed 4 year old who doesn’t mind that they aren’t that great, but I did end up purchasing another brand of black pencils for my older child who is learning how to sketch.

Perfecta. Caja de 12 lápices, todos de color rojo, en perfecto estado. La necesitaba porque mi hijo gasta mucho el color rojo cuando dibuja, comparado con el resto. Es una lástima que las marcas no vendan los colores básicos por separado aunque sea para venta en papelerías, o en cajas más pequeñas, porque los niños siempre cogen afición a gastar determinados colores, y no quería comprar una caja de colores variados cuando sólo busco un color. Muy contenta con la compra.

These Staedler Noris pencils are of good quality. A good option for people who use a lot of red in their art work.
