Fruit and Snack Seasoning (400g)

So glad I purchased, tastes so good. I purchased this as I asked at the place I’ve been getting birria tacos for a long time now what they put on there chips, this is what they said and so addictive having this in the cupboard. Surprised it isn’t sold in your normal supermarkets. Not too spicy at all, love the lime zing you get through. Not sure on value for money as I had nowhere else to compare the price to as haven’t found it in supermarkets but I’m happy with the purchase

Simply delicious with very little spice, I have been adding this ontop of my daily meals for years now and it works great with anything.

I got sucked into buying this after seeing it on social media, I’m glad to say it didn’t disappoint. The flavour is a little bit spicy with a hint of lime. It’s very mild in spice, my 3 year old loves it. The size of the bottle will last for ages as you don’t need much at all to get a great flavour

Excellent value for money with a large 400 gram tub / bottle like this. We've used this for making spicy margaritas, it's great round the rim of the glass and the spicy, salty, lime kick is great. However, we also bought it to try on meats as a rub and I found the flavour way too much and a bit overpowering. It seems this is almost like a marmite situation where you either love it or hate it. It can be used on fruits, meats and in cocktails, so I can't fault it's versatility. The actual quality of both the bottle it comes in and the seasoning itself is great. If only I really loved the flavour as much as my partner does and it would get 5 stars!

Good seasoning, not too strong cajun and a hint of lime

Absolutely obsessed with this!!!! How did I ever eat and enjoy fruit before!!!!!! You can use it for savoury snacks aswell. I added it to my salad! Lovely! And I added it to my cottage cheese! Lovely! But I absolutely love it on my fruit, especially watermelon, grapes and strawberries!!!!!!! I will never be without this again!!!!

The 400g size is genuinely generous for the money, and the screw top container feels solid. A word of warning that several owners echo, and which proved true here, is that the tub arrives very full, so the lid is best removed with care to avoid a spill on first opening. On the seasoning itself, the ingredients list of chilli peppers, sea salt, citric acid and dehydrated lime juice tells most of the story. The lime tang is the dominant note, bright and zesty, backed by a clear salt presence and a mild chilli warmth that tingles rather than burns. It is an approachable level of heat that should suit those wary of anything fierce. The one reservation worth flagging honestly is that a portion of the sourness comes from added citric acid rather than the lime alone, and to some palates that registers as a slightly artificial tang rather than a clean citrus finish. This is plainly a matter of taste, and reactions to the blend are genuinely split between those who find it addictive and those who find it sharp or one note. In real use its versatility is its strongest suit. Over several weeks it has worked well rimming a spicy margarita glass, where the salt, lime and chilli combination is at its best, and scattered over fruit such as melon and mango, on salad, and even on a hard boiled egg. It is less universally loved as a meat rub, where the citric tang can become overpowering, so it suits sprinkling and finishing more than heavy seasoning. A little goes a long way, and the large tub will last a long time in any normal household. This suits anyone who enjoys bright, tangy, lightly spiced flavours and wants a single seasoning that crosses fruit, snacks, salads and cocktails. Those seeking real heat, a complex spice profile, or a clean natural lime character without the citric edge may be disappointed, and it is worth trying a smaller tub first given how polarising the flavour proves. On value the price is fair for the quantity, though some owners feel it dear for what are fundamentally inexpensive ingredients. A competent, adaptable and well packaged seasoning that does its job and lasts well, but the citric acid sharpness and the genuinely divisive flavour mean it will not be to everyone's liking. Useful and worth a try with those caveats in mind, which keeps it at a fair and honest three stars rather than higher.

c’est très bon c’est pas vraiment piquant c’est un peu sucré et a la fin on ressent vraiment le gout de citron vert mais sinon c’est incroyable et je vous conseille de surtout le mettre sur les fruits comme la mangue la pastèque ect

What needs to be said about Tajin, it's delicious. Goes great on many dishes, but put it on watermelon for one of the best snacks ever.
