Momcozy Video Baby Monitor, 5" 1080P HD Baby Monitor with Camera and Audio

This Momcozy Video Monitor is amazing! It's inexpensive in comparison to other baby monitors on the market and I love that it does not require wifi or an app to use! Additional cameras are relatively inexpensive to others on the market, and the monitor can connect to up to 4! The design of the monitor itself is sleek and modern with a easy to use stand so it can be set anywhere. It's easy to use and navigate the settings. The video is high quality and very detailed. It's night vision and 3 zoom settings allow you to see almost every detail on baby, day or night! The camera is not bulky or gaudy and comes with a mount attachment. It's also light weight enough that if you're not interested in putting any holes in your walls that you could use a strong double sided adhesive strip. It's nearly 360° range allows you to follow baby as they inch around their crib! The microphone picks up all sounds coming from the room so you can rest assured that you won't miss a sound from your little one! Voice-to-talk also allows you to chat to little one from any room in the house. It also has 5 different lullabies to chose from! The monitor also has amazing range before it will disconnect from the camera. We live on the second floor in an apartment and I can easily head down to the laundry room in the basement and still be able to pick-up signal to watch baby. The camera also detects room temperature, which seems pretty accurate, ±2°, depending on where the camera is mounted. It also includes a setting to alert you if the room falls below or exceeds the desired temperature for newborns. The battery life is INCREDIBLE. Even after months of continuous daily use, the battery life does not drain. It is easy to charge and comes with two usbc type cords and charging ports for both camera and monitor. We have never experienced the monitor dropping below "3 bars" even after prolonged use during long (6 - 8+ hrs) strenches of sleep at night. Overall, the Momcozy is an amazing product and after 3 months of continuous daily use, I have no complaints!

I am extremely happy with my Momcozy Baby Monitor! The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night, which gives me peace of mind whenever my baby is sleeping. The monitor is easy to set up and use, and the connection has been reliable without any interruptions. One of my favorite features is the excellent battery life and the ability to hear and see my baby clearly from anywhere in the house. As a parent, safety and reliability are my top priorities, and this monitor delivers on both. The picture quality, sound clarity, and user-friendly design make it a great value for the price. I highly recommend the Momcozy Baby Monitor to any parent looking for a dependable and easy-to-use baby monitoring system.

Re-writing my review after 6 months of usage. Still recommended, though I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Baby monitors continue to be a frustrating product space, with mixed reviews on nearly every brand and unit. $30 wifi cameras will give better picture quality than a $200 baby monitor. I scoured the internet for reviews, and found very few unbiased and in-depth ones, yet many sponsored / influencer reviews. (For what it's worth Momcozy also seems to use influencer marketing). Things we like: 1. High resolution display - the image is crisp and clear. Many other cameras are 720p only. This one has a 1080p camera AND display. It means the digital zoom doesn't work quite as well (it gets a bit pixelated) but that tradeoff is fine for us. 2. Audio quality - Audio is clear, and the VOX feature (transmitting your voice through the camera) works very well. 3. USB-C charging - love this. No more hunting for that proprietary charger. We can use the same cable as our phone and laptops. Battery life has been sufficient too. 4. Night vision (mostly) - the night vision LEDs illuminate the area well (invisible to the naked eye, only seen by the camera), but are slightly misaligned on our unit. So the "bright spot" is not in the center of the camera view. 5. Menu / software - Interface is responsive and decently modern, especially compared to some other brands. 6. Tilt / pan feature - The camera movements are responsive and accurate with a wide range of motion. Things we dislike: 1. The range is average and the signal randomly cuts out. Our bedroom usually has 3 bars of strength, but will randomly disconnect during the night, leading to the screen illuminating and a loud beeping alarm notification. It restores after a few seconds on its own, but we have no idea why this happens and there's no fold-out antenna to improve the range. Very frustrating. 2. Plastic-y build and flimsy kickstand. Display units from many other brands are designed to stand upright. This one is not, and instead has a flimsy kickstand that folds out. It's not very stable and I suspect it will break off one of these days. 3. Screen sleep behavior. The unit will 'sleep' according to a timer, which turns off the screen and audio (both are then automatically re-enabled when it hears a loud sound). But there doesn't seem to sleep the unit manually. You turn off the screen by tapping the power button, but this doesn't turn off the audio (and will remain on forever). So the only option is to wait for the timer to shut both off. This can feel like an eternity in the middle of the night. Overall, would I buy it again? Probably. Though I'd probably take a look at the competition again first.

Image quality is great, monitor screen is bright and clear, controls are responsive. Audio pickup is also good. I wish it can transmit longer range, my unit disconnects from 2 rooms away. Also I wish it has a battery option, this one requires to be plugged in to a wall.

This baby monitor works great. You can easily move it from room to room, just need to have a cable and outlet to plug it into. Super easy to use and set up. The display is clear and you can zoom in closely. Audio is also very good. Nice to have this camera not be on WiFi for safety reasons. Would recommend and will definitely purchase this again if needed

I purchased this monitor in 2022 and loved it. It worked flawlessly for years, and I recommended it to multiple friends and family members. When the screen on our original monitor cracked, I didn’t hesitate to buy another one. Unfortunately, the newer version is completely different despite having the same model number. The biggest issue is that it no longer functions like a true VOX monitor. On the older version, you could let the screen sleep and have the monitor activate when sound reached a meaningful threshold. It did a good job filtering out normal background noise while still alerting you when your child actually needed you. The new version seems to keep the audio on continuously, even when the screen is dark. If your child sleeps with white noise or music, you’ll be listening to it too. The obvious solution is to turn the volume down, but then you risk not hearing your child if they need you. It’s a frustrating tradeoff that didn’t exist on the older version. The screen sensitivity is also excessive. Even on the lowest setting, the screen constantly activates from normal background noise. Every activation causes a clicking sound from the camera. If you have a child who is sensitive to sounds, the camera noise can be disturbing. To make matters worse, the screen is surprisingly bright, even on the lowest brightness setting. So not only does it turn on frequently, but every false alarm comes with a bright flash from the monitor. The range is another disappointment. I don’t have a particularly large house, yet the monitor frequently loses connection when I’m on the opposite side of it. The original monitor never had this problem. A baby monitor doesn’t need to work across several football fields, but it should be able to make it across a typical family home. I assumed I had received a defective unit. Momcozy kindly sent a replacement. Same issue. We tried another unit. Same issue. At that point it became clear this wasn’t a manufacturing problem, it was a design decision. The frustrating part is that the older version was excellent. They already had a product that worked beautifully. The updates removed some of the features that made it so useful in the first place.

Quick to charge and a really clear screen

The Momcozy Video Baby Monitor has been a fantastic addition to our home. Video & Audio Quality: The 1080P camera delivers crisp, clear video both day and night. The night vision is excellent—no grainy shadows, just a clear view of our little one. Audio is sharp, with no static or lag, so we can hear even the smallest noises. Ease of Use: Setup was quick, and the 5" display is bright, easy to navigate, and responsive. The interface is simple enough that anyone in the family can use it without fuss. Performance: The connection is stable and responsive, with minimal delay. It works great around the house, letting us move from room to room without losing signal. Wish List: If I could change one thing, it would be to have a slightly longer range or the option to purchase range extenders. It works well in most situations, but a bit of extra reach would make it perfect for larger homes or outdoor use. Bottom Line: This is a high-quality, dependable baby monitor that gives us peace of mind day and night. Even with my wish for a longer range, it’s an easy 5-star recommendation.

This is the best monitor I've bought so far and I've bought and returned many. I like that there's a volume button and you don't have to go through the menu. I also like that there's a volume option for the camera in the room (I just wish the music volume could go down lower as I've had to cover it bc it's too loud on lowest setting for sleep). I like that it can pan almost the entire room as well as pan down so you don't have to worry about the height your camera is at. Another plus is it has a seperate button for lullabies which makes it quick and easy to turn on. I like the overall design of it and it has a nice kickstand so it doesn't tip over easy. I bought a second camera and I like that I can view screens either seperate or side by side. The picture is very clear except when zooming. If I could perfect it I would turn the volume down on the speaker for the music, add more actual lullabies that are settling instead of kinda upbeat songs, and the front of the camera by the lens gets very hot. Idk if this is just mine or what but a lil unsafe I think. Other than that it's been my best option

We upgraded from our previous monitor as we will need two monitors soon, and I can't get over how much better this one is (at almost the same price-point too). The sound quality is so high that it feels like you're in the room. We also love the fact that we can move the camera remotely and zoom in. It gives us a bit of flexibility with where to install in since we had to worry about where cords would be exposed. The image quality is impressive, and most importantly, the device is house-safe which was really important for us. I am even considering purchasing the extra camera to just use this when the second baby arrives, rather than using our old monitor.
