Neither funny, nor sexy
What a disappointment. This book was obviously McCarthy's attempt at jumping on the BDSM waggon and let me tell you, she didn't make it there. I loved the first novels in the Fast Track series, especially Flat-Out Sexy, as the main characters were believable and the setting of motor racing was something new to me. But this - both heroine and hero are extremely boring and I couldn't have cared less about what was happening to them. The BDSM part was neither here nor there, the characters from the previous books felt like they'd rather be somewhere else too and the story itself with it's "I have to get married or lose my inheritance" has been done much better by other authors. Please, Erin McCarthy, go back to what you can do - writing sexy, funny novels with characters readers can care about.

7th fast track book!! 3.5/4 stars
this is the 7th book in Erin McCarthy's 'Fast Track' series. firstly,i'd like to say that this book could easily be read as a stand alone, more so than any of the others in my opinion.nevertheless, it was still a good installment to the series and there are interactions with characters from previous books.i liked the characters in this book, though at times the romance seemed a tad forced.i can't say this is my favorite of the series as often it had a 'mills & Boon' feel to it, even the story-line was what you would find in those type of books.however, i must say that the love scenes were far steamier!(perhaps even more so than the others in this series).this book was also full of great one-liners that had me laughing several times throughout.overall, it was a good fun read.nothing really dramatic or action packed,or even that emotionally engaging.what it did have was a steady pace,a mix of characters and great humor. not the best in the series, but still worth a go.according to her website there is only going to be one more book in this series!!!the order so far is:1. Flat-Out Sexy (2008)2. Hard and Fast (2009)3. Hot Finish (2010)4. The Chase (2011)5. Slow Ride (2011)6. Jacked Up (2012)7. Full Throttle (2013)

McCarthy takes it to the wall with "Full Throttle"
With McCarthy's humor and knowledge of the racing mindset, the Fast Track series captured my interest from the start. Each successive story has added to the fun. Full Throttle is the best of the series yet. McCarthy's characters become your friends before the first chapter is complete and you take the ride through the story as if you were in the driver's seat with them.

I've read the full series and enjoyed every book
I've read the full series and enjoyed every book. Lot's of sex scenes in all these books so if you don't like this you need to be aware. However, I have found these books really good.
