Perfect! I like having my landline on the kitchen wall, but when you have to buy a new landline, they never give ya the short cord! The cord is always to long. This 6 inch wire connects easily, functions fine & my land line phone sounds good. Good value for the couple bucks to purchase.

next time I will buy a longer cord. This works but doesn't quite make it to my sofa which is where I wanted to talk on the phone. get the longer don't get the 10 footer.

Proof that 8 inches is shorter than you think. It would be better to get a longer cable and use a twist tie for any excess. That's more my fault for not thinking it through than any fault of the cable, since it performs the required function.
