I got one of these on Groupon. There is a tiny amount of memory foam the rest is textured foam and normal foam they've also put in polyester fibres which are like the stuff in synthetic pillows and that basically wraps around the foam and felts together to create a solid mass. It compacts and the filling cannot easily move like other proper fillers that are only foam. You know those pillows that start poofy and then go solid ? It's like that. The cover is made from thick synthetic plasticy material not unlike a blow up mattress material so when you sit down on it the air is trapped inside and you hit the surface with a bang.other ones with soft covers the air can go through so it doesn't balloon upon hitting the surface. My kids basically belly flopped because they'd been on other bags and thought this would be the same fluffy experience. bang! It's extremely heavy to move and even when you do move it it stays completely solid and doesn't move around inside to fluff it up. I'm sending mine back which is also a nightmare as it won't fit in any kind of box now it's been opened. It's a really uncomfortable lump on the floor it even hurts if you stub a toe on the thing. The fact they don't list materials and just say " memory foam included" should ring alarm bells for consumers and I should have known better ...Amazon and Groupon should ask the advertiser to state clearly the materials used. If I'd known it wasn't memory foam except maybe 2 per cent I wouldn't have bothered. We have enjoyed many real memory foam bean bags at showrooms and this doesn't come close!
