Can the imax beach shelter be tied down with gide ropes

It comes with a bag of pegs It also has a skirt that folds into or out of the shelter which allows shingle, pebbles etc to hold it in place. It’s a great design which has held it solid in 40mph winds This negates the need for guide ropes.
