Amazing!
This is my second buy. It's an amazing product at a very good price. My whole family uses it now for various reasons. I had thinning damaged hair and now my hair has definitely improved. It has its shine and moisture back, less tangled and less frizzy. It also made my hair quite curly, and this was quite a surprising side effect. The smell is overwhelmingly unpleasant, there is no doubt about it. However, once you get past the smell, you'll find that it is actually a very good product and it is quite affordable. It also works very well against dandruffs, for those with stubborn hard flaky dandruff issues. It is too soon to comment on hair growth or hair loss, I have yet to see any difference after a month. It contains more natural and traditional ingredients unlike the expensive haircare brand which can contain a lot of chemicals. Overall, this is an amazing product so far!

Shiny hair, not so subtle aroma
I wasn’t expecting miracles, but my hair has definitely noticed the difference since I started using this. It makes my locks feel softer, nourished, and less like a bird’s nest, which is enough to make anyone happy.Strength and nourish: Leaves hair feeling stronger and moist, especially good if your ends are dry or you’ve been abusing your hair with too much heat styling.Consistency: A proper hair oil, not too greasy, not too thin or thick if you use the right amount, and spreads easily when massaged into the scalp.Application: Best used as a pre‑wash treatment as it soaks in nicely and doesn’t make your scalp feel like it’s trapped in a puddle.Smell (warning!): The scent is very strong and earthy. Some people love it, others may find it overpowering. It can linger even after washing, so plan this for evenings or wash days, not right before heading out.Overall it's a solid, budget-friendly oil that actually nourishes and helps make hair look better. Just be ready for the lingering smell.

Won't use another type of oil now
I'm on a mission to improve my hair after postpartum hairloss so bought this after seeing it on a few social media posts. I've previously tried coconut oil and rosemary oil but haven't really noticed much difference. This oil is amazing! It leaves my hair so soft and smells lovely. I have noticed my hair seems fuller around my hairline - whether this is due to the oil or just postpartum regrowth I can't 100% say.I tend to apply oil quite liberally so get through bottles quickly but this seems to be lasting ages. I have read that is can darken hair colour but I haven't noticed it doing this to my hair. The oil can stain though so be mindful of what you are wearing when applying it.

Stonkinly good!
Just had to say this oil is seriously fabulous.I struggle with anxiety, causes stress to my hair, I have Fibro, causes stress to my hair. A couple of years ago loads fell out, bang went my lovely straight bob, had it cut mega short, (I was so sick of seeing clumps of my hair lying on the floor).I decided to try and grow it again, it has grown back resembling dishevelled spaghetti... crossed with wiry Brillo pad!I am also mid menopause, started at 39 am now 45. You get the picture, my hair has really suffered.I have tried in desperation with coconut oil, Philip Kingsley pre conditioner stuff, think it was around £70, helped a smidge, many more conditioning treatments, but nothing like this.I put the oil into a container and warmed it in a sink of warm water, from massage thinking warm oil penetrates deeper.. cushdie.I applied throughout my hair concentrating especially on the end bits. I wrapped my hair in a towel and slept with the oil on. I then went to my first job of the day (cleaner, well nobody takes any notice). I just put my hair up as I would usually do, working hard made me hot, thus helping my hair absorb more of the oil. When I washed it and dried it, I was gobsmacked, my hair was much softer, even the spaghetti curls seemed bouncer. They suggest to use it 2-3 times per week. The oil is a green colour, but your barnet does not look any shade of Shrek! They also mention to the lucky blonde folks that after time your hair may darken using this product. It does have a strong smell, but I love it.I would highly recommend this oil. Thanks for reading x

Caused significant hair loss
I know that everyone reacts differently to products, but I find it odd that no other reviewer seems to experience what I did - and that is, massive hair loss and shedding. I'm 20, have healthy hair (just wanted it to grow longer faster) and never ordinarily lose much hair, maybe the odd few strands when washing my hair, but when using Amla - as I did many times, nearly getting through the whole bottle, by oiling my hair completely for 1-2 hours and then washing it normally with my normal products - each time I would pull out SO much hair in CLUMPS!! When barely running my hand through my hair, massive amounts would come out in the shower and I found myself to be losing more dry hair during the day too. I've stopped using it now and my hair is back to normal, barely losing any at all. I also didn't notice any hair growth whatsoever, and since stopping using it I've been taking biotin tablets and have seen so much growth in comparison. all this product did for me was cause significant hair fall-out when washing, and smell awful (my parents didn't want to be around me smelling that badly and strongly).
