This thing is so small it's not even usable. The description didn't list the dimensions accuratelyThe description says - and that makes no sense.Interior: 2 3/4â€x 1 1/4â€Exterior: 3 1/2â€x 2 1/4â€The box itself is well-made, but for the price, I was expected it to be larger than this. For reference, I've included a photo of me holding the box. I am a very small woman. I am 4'10 with tiny hands. I ordered this as a gift for a girl that likes steampunk stuff. If I'd known it was this small, I wouldn't have gotten it.

WORTHLESS. BADLY PAINTED, CRUDELY CONSTRUCTED, AND FAR TOO SMALL TO BE USEABLE. SENDING IT BACK. I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO SPEND MY MONEY ON THAN A CHEAP, DOLLAR-STORE QUALITY PIECE OF CRAP TOO SMALL TO PUT ANYTHING IN!!!! WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!UPDATE: I bought this box as a gift for a hardcore Steampunk fan, so i was going by their reaction when i wrote the above review. But now, I have it in my hand, and......I am totally nonplussed.The box AND the top fit in the palm of my hand!!!! This tiny thing is badly painted. If it was at least half as big as the box it came in, it would be halfway decent. About 10 of them would fit in the box (more, if you stack them). I'm Sending it back, and I WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS BOX IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

The size in picture was grossly misleading, but it's beautiful and appears hand-painted!I bought this to house my tarot cards, but when it came in the mail... it's actually the size of a fat matchbox!I expected more for $20, but serves me right. all I can store in it are a few razor blades on my bathroom counter.Thanks for reminding me to triple check on ACTUAL SIZE of items!

For the price I was hoping for a much larger box. As other reviews state, the description did not have actual dimensions. This fits in the palm of my hand and will not hold very much-like 3 inches by 2 inches. The box itself seems well made but the paint job was terrible. Gold was all over the brown areas and vice versa-very sloppy looking. I re-painted the entire box before I was able to give it as a gift. I think with the new paintjob the gift will be loved by a steampunk fan.

I’m not certain if the size was listed and we missed it, but we expected this gift item to be the size of a keepsake box (fromthe pic,) but it was like a ring-box.

It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I'm not sure what can really fit in it other than maybe some earrings. I really think there should be an object in the photo with it to properly judge size. The measurements provided on the site don't really make sense. It would have been a cool item if it were a decent size.
