BEWARE AND TAKE A INFORMED DECISION ON PURCHASING HAVELLS BLDC FANS Here are my objectives observations: 1) Fan works well - it is silent and effective But- 1) HORRIBLE after sales service 2) Fan stopped working suddenly 7 months after purchasing 3) Customer care is an experience in itself! They will read out the script provided to them endlessly without giving ANY useful information 4) My fan did not get repaired or even attended to despite a so called “urgent” complaint Havells said they had taken! 5) For a fan this expensive to have after sales service like described above is nothing short of cheating. I recently purchased a Havells fan from Amazon, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. My main reason for choosing this fan was its aesthetic appeal. The fan's size is similar to our regular fans, and it offers a decent speed. In terms of noise, it's comparable to our standard fans. I also had a positive experience with the service. The fan was delivered promptly, and I appreciated the fact that next-day installation was included at no extra cost. However, there is one downside to note. If there is a thunderstorm outside, it's advisable to turn off the fan for safety reasons. Also, it is not recommended to operate it through a fan regulator if you have a remote; in that case, it may not function properly. Rate is a bit on higher side. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the fan's performance.
