Salt in His Shoes: Michael Jordan in Pursuit of a Dream (Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers)

I read this book to my class (age 7) to compliment a lesson I was doing about resilience. The boys and girls cheered at the end of the story. I think they enjoyed it!

Thinner book but with strong moral. Motivates kids and adults!

Lovely book bought for my basketball loving son

Lovely book as described

Lovely

So good, my godson loves it.

Bought this for my partner, a total basketball obsessed fan of mr jordan. He loved it and now reads it to our son, who isn't that interested in basketball but loves a good story! Lovelt illustrations and a feel good story behind this inspirational tale of a boy done good!

I bought this for my 5 yr old son who has recently become interested in basketball and Michael Jordan. He enjoyed listening to the story. I thought the story was good but not fantastic, however I loved the illustrations. One criticism for me would be the Christian/religious nature of the book. I didn't read the page where Michael's mother prays to God, as my 5 year old would not have understood prayer or the concept of God, maybe when he's a bit older. But otherwise a lovely story.

My sons new favourite book. Thank you for writing books that my children actually want to read.

Really nice book. Well written and beautiful illustrations. Very inspiring theory.

Great message about Grit and Perseverance! I’m a school principal and I read this book to the whole school as we get into testing season. It’s very relatable to the kids
