This part is worth its weight in gold!!!
This part worked perfectly! I don’t have any idea what that other orange plastic dohickey thing is in the package but the gray plastic retainer worked flawlessly! You won’t regret it!If your vehicle is 15 years old you might want to preemptively replace it before it falls apart and the shift cable pops off of the shifter mechanism! Just sayin!🤣

It fit and cost considerably less than the OEM
I only put it on 2 days ago so I cant speak on the durability. It was aggravating to put on my Titan, but it needs to be tight as there is no retainer. Go ahead and unclip the cable base from the bracket and yank it up high enough to work on. I spent 5 minutes trying to push the thing in with the cable down by the shifter with no success. The little orange tool didn't make a lot of sense to me, but it has a half moon cutout in one end you can use to push the tabs around the bushing through. A dull flathead screwdriver might work better, but there I was and I eventually pushed it in place. The whole design is sketchy and prone to fail, but that is Nissan's fault. Mine failed and stuck in reverse while I was backed down a hill against a ditched vehicle on the snow and ice with a tow strap tied to them. Fun times having to disassemble the console without the proper tools and yank the cable into drive.

Linkage cable bushing
This was super easy to put on. After it was delivered, it only took a minute or so to install. It come with a little grease to help with installation. Made my day so much easier.
