I purchased two Cielo breeze lite devices to control my mini split heat pump in both the master bedroom and family room. I have set a schedule in the bedroom to heat it up at night and turn off during the day.The lowest setting for my heat pump is 59 degrees. When I go away, I set my baseboard heaters to 40 degrees just so the pipes don't free. Cielo allows me to set the heat to a much lower temperature than the heat pump allows. I appreciate this because I don't need the house heated when I am not there. I only need to protect the pipe.Oscar, with Cielo Tech support, has been extremely helpful in setting up the device and adding comfy scheduled. I have also spoken with Jack a few times when Oscar was not available. He too was knowledgeable and helpful.The device is small and needs a clear path to the heat pump air handler.

works great, is simple, and is easy to install. I had a small issue called customer support and got a person answering within 30 seconds who was knowledgeable and solved my issue within a few minutes. I would say this is very rare today even with big companies who make you jump through many hoops to talk with someone helpful. 5 start from me and I will be buying more

This arrived today. Instructions were very easy to follow and set up unit. Had a little difficulty pairing with the app. Called customer support with number provided, all I can say is kudos to this company. They had it handled and working in minutes. In reading reviews before purchasing I saw other reviews praising customer support which is the main factor in my decision to go with Cielo and I’m extremely happy I did.

I've had this device for about 4 months now (over the summer). This device worked great to make my dumb a/c smart. There are a few devices out there that can do this but Cielo offered one of the cheaper ones along with my criteria of it being a US company, as I did not want to install an app made by a foreign company.Setup was a breeze. My GE a/c is so old, it's not on their list. My remote was also not working, so I was concerned I wouldn't be able to complete the setup at all, but I was still able to manually add it based on the code on the back of my remote.Earlier this year I started a cold water aquarium that required the water to be between 60*-70*. It already has a chiller, but with the summer heat wave of over 100*, the chiller alone was not cutting it, so I had to turn on the a/c. By using Comfy Mode, I'm able to set the a/c to turn on and off automatically whenever the temperature hits above or below a certain temperature, so just enough to keep the water temp within range. This helps save electricity, vs just running the a/c constantly all day when it wasn't needed for human comfort or when no one was home.I do wish the app had more functionality though, below is a wish list.WISHLIST of the app functions:-The app's a/c timeline doesn't show the actual time of when the a/c turned on or off. Instead, it shows how many hours ago, which requires mental math. Showing the actual time would be much more convenient and shouldn't be hard to implement.-A widget that would show what the current temp reading is, instead of having to go into the app to look.-A widget where I can one-tap turn the a/c or or off. Currently have to open the app, select the unit, then turn it on/off. It requires 3 taps to do, a minor inconvenience.-An alarm if temp hits a certain number. It's happened twice when the device became un-synced with the a/c. (The device kicked in and had sent a signal to the a/c unit to turn it on, but for whatever reason, the signal got blocked so it didn't actually turn on the a/c.) An alarm would alert me that the room is getting warmer than it should be, which would indicate the a/c didn't turn on.All in all, happy with the purchase.

This is the device I've been wanting for like 10 years. I have a very cheap landlord special wall AC unit but it did come with a remote, which is the only feature it has over the very basic functions. I've always wanted to control it remotely so I can pre-cool the apartment before I get home from work since it never has a fully "off" when it reaches temp on the on-board controls, it just goes to fan mode and wastes power and money. I got so excited by this device I ordered it without checking the compatibility list on their website. My remote wasn't listed under my manufacturer but I send a support request and they got back to me super fast with a different brand that had the same remote! It still wasn't working so I called their support (which actually has good hours for us on the west coast!) and we worked through it and I had a VPN ad blocker that was impeding the app from working on my phone (not typical of most users and they do not have ads but something was blocking it) but their support tech was super knowledgeable and we figured it out. It was my fault and not theirs but they were super friendly, responsive, and on top of it so I'd highly recommend this to anyone because it fills a niche that I feel like more people would enjoy or benefit from but yet most does not know a solution exists. I really want to spread the word and let people know that you can turn a remote-control-only AC into a smart device! Schedules too! And even if I just open the app on my way home from work to pre-cool my apartment....it's money very well spent
