This small piece of plastic could easily be overlooked; until of course the vacuuming of the pool is needed. I simple and lowly device, it still is able ot provide great and faithful service and allow improved cleanliness through its relationship building between the suction hose and its mate the pump. While the pump rages away outside the pool, it is the purpose of the hose to pull the bracken of nature from the lowest fathoms of the pool and eject them from it. But none of this can occur without the noble Hayward SP1094D who mates the two cousins and brings the soiled liquid into the skimmer basket allowing full filtration and ejection of the filth that would otherwise spoil the cleanliness of the pool. Although Hayward SP1094D does not really do anything, it certainly does do what is intended of it, and does it full well without complaint or lament. Thank you Hayward SP1094D for providing the effortless bridge from pool to skimmer basket so well and so humbly.

Not for standard in ground pools- too small

This did not fit my pool skimmer. I should have measured it better. I am still giving 4 stars, because my money was refunded quickly, even though there was not anything wrong with the product.
