Perfect for Interviews Using Smartphone
So, happy to have found this. Your smartphone videos are only as good as your audio output. Never forget that. I am a video guy. Unless the smartphone is directly in front of your face, you really do need a lavalier mic. If you do interviews and commentary with two people, this dual lavalier mic is perfect for any smartphone. This wired lavalier mic set is plug-and-play. No apps or special drivers needed. Very easy. As a video guy, and much to my surprise, I have started using my smartphone more and more for many of my videos. However, audio is always the weak link and the big problem. To fix this problem I picked up Pop Voice's wired lavalier lapel dual mic set. These two small microphones allow me to do interviews on a live stream from my Android (s7) for most any social media app such as Facebook and Periscope with crystal clear audio. It is critically important to me to better my audio beyond that of which the built-in microphone on the smartphone can deliver--which is quite poor in sound quality. Attached to this review is a video. Watch it and listen to the difference between my wife and me using the dual-head lavalier mic. You will notice a big sound difference when I unplugged the mic set. There is no comparison. I am very happy with the quality that this mic has brought me. About the microphone itself, the cable is more than 16ft long so it's long enough to meet most needs. Depending on the set scenario, the 16' throw is quite handy. The clips are sturdy. Once it is clipped on, it will stay. They give you two extra clips, which is really nice. They also throw in a couple extra black windscreen, which is very cool of them. They always seem to get lost, so having extras is great. They give you a couple attachment types too so this will work on most any PC or smartphone. The microphones are small enough that most people probably will not notice them when on camera streaming. Tips: It's usually best to hide the cord under clothing. Just weave it so no one sees the cord. Place the mic on the chest near the head-- it doesn't have to be too close the mouth at all. Middle chest area is great. If you are a heavy breather, you may attach the mic upside down on your shirt to avoid the sound of you breathing into the mic.

Shockingly Good For The Price!
I recently purchased and reviewed the Pop Voice PV510+ Lavaliere Microphone and I was very impressed with the quality for the incredibly low price. I recently was in the market for a dual-head lavaliere mic so that I could record myself and anther person at the same time in a quick and easy way. Fortunately Pop Voice has the PV550+ Dual-head lavaliere Microphone. This product has a low price point which is great for someone like me who is on a tight budget. The 16 foot cord is great since I sometimes need some good distance from the camera and it seems very sturdy. I have been using this product for 3 weeks now testing it in several ways such as 2 mics on one person, one mic on each person, as well as using the mic on several different devices. The sound quality was good but it does capture a little background noise which is usual and easy to edit out. Once again I was pleasantly surprised with the build and sound quality from a product at such a reasonable price. If you are looking for a product like this on a budget I think you will get your moneys worth and more from this product.

Decent sound for an awesome price!
Disclaimer: I was provided a unit for review, but the views expressed here are my own. This is a great little mic for the price! The long cords are great for setting up a very comfortable interview space. Plugging it all into one port on a computer or phone for recording is a beautiful added bonus, and I’m definitely happy with that. Overall sound quality is decent. It’s a bit tinny, but both microphone heads pick up very well and produce clear vocals. I’m sure it could be helped quite a bit, too, by someone who’s better at EQ than I am. For comparison, I had a $250 Audio-Technica ATM350 condenser mic. It’s not a fair comparison at all, but out of the box you can definitely tell the difference. That being said, the convenience and overall quality of this dual-head microphone can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend it as a solid upgrade over most built-in mics.

good quality. great for recording two people at once.
So far this mic (these mics?) seem to work really well. It actually utilizes two lavalier microphones with one connection so that two people can be recorded without having to stay around a single mic or have two inputs on whatever device is using for recording. The cables for this product are really long. Really really long. 196 inches is a lot longer than I realized until I actually got it out and used it. I was able to use one mic at my computer while my daughter went to another room to use the other. There are two adapters included that allow you to use it in almost any situation, as long as you have a 3.5mm input. It worked on my computer with the one adapter and actually worked on my phone with or without the phone adapter. Without extensive testing there is no way to be 100% sure that it will work on any device but it seems the pc adapter should work on almost anything since it seems to reduce it to a single audio channel. All in all a pretty great mic(s) for the price.

Excellent microphone set especially at this price!
I don't normally go for cheap microphones. But I was looking for something to use for remote work for my TV show, The Sunday Storyteller Series. And I needed something where I could interview people without having to bring a big setup. This Mic set fits the bill fantastically. Having two microphones on one cord with plenty of length between them and a easy interface to get into my phone makes it easy to interview people even in noisy environments. The sound quality is far better than I expected it to be for $20 and I'm going to end up getting a lot of use out of this lavalier mic. Definitely well worth adding to your arsenal if you do on-the-go interviews, podcasts, or vlogs. The sound quality is far better than expected, the cord length is perfect with plenty to get from one person to the other, it's easy to carry. Came with a nice bag, and all of the needed the connectors. Overall great product that I would highly recommend!

Good idea, but execution is so-so
Full disclosure, I was provided this piece of equipment free of charge for the sake of reviewing and testing the mic. With that out of the way, I was intrigued by the product the minute I saw it- a dual-headed lavalier could open up a lot of neat possibilities! I have a youtube channel to which I post videos frequently, and demoed this product in that context, so there may be applications to which this product is better suited, that I simply did not test. But I can say this: It's not a great option for podcasting or creating youtube videos. PROS: Price- At $20, this is a pretty inexpensive microphone. Ease of use- It's very easy to get started with this mic; just plug and record. Cord Length- A common problem with lav mics is a short cord, but this one is definitely an exception. Input levels- If you're a quiet person, this mic will pick you up wonderfully. Dual heads- This kind of setup would be incredibly useful for recording two people simultaneously without the need to resynchronize audio. However... CONS: Only records in mono- I don't find it useful to record two people with their own microphone unless you're recording them to separate tracks, which this product is incapable of doing. Clipping- When I tested the microphone out, nearly every phrase clipped this microphone at some point. For context, I was wearing the heads at about the midpoint of each collarbone. Too much low end- My test recording came out in such a way that there was very little treble or midrange to my voice, but entirely too much bass. The sound quality is simply not great. This mic is great for reducing background noise that the iPhone built-in mic might pick up, but at the cost of sound quality. Plus, the dual heads both record to the same audio stream, so if one person is too loud compared to the other person, it will ruin the recording. I would not recommend this mic for anyone interested in using it for YouTube or podcasting.

A lapel mic that can keep up with the best of them.
I was contacted by the company and asked if I wanted to review this product. I was skeptical at first because you often hear the adage you get what you pay for. However, I was externally supposed by this lapel. I have used many lapels of various price points and this one ranks up there with the best of them. It includes adaptors that allow you to use it with iPhone, android, dslr. I was extremely impressed with their forthought. That being said if you are using this with your phone it works great. However if you want to use this with a DSLR. Be sure you are using a short focal length. While the cable length is fairly long, I found myself struggle long with a 50mm lens to get boca and length without feeling like I was going to know I the camera off the tripod. Overall I could not recommend this lapel enough. Do not be put off by the price. It will hold its own against some of the pricier options.

Missing pieces, broken
Opened the package and the one laptop adapter piece wasn't in there. Figured ok if they atleast work with my cameras or phones I'll keep them and just buy another cord to replace the one that it didn't have in the box. So I played around with these for 2 days before giving up. They don't work on my Android phones, they don't work with my cameras, neither one photo or video camera. Bottom line if I could give negative stars I would . Very disappointed. Reached out to their support 2 days after getting it and trying to get it to work . And no reply from them as of yet and it's been almost a month. I will edit this review if they do get back to me and fix the issue. Otherwise it's a big fat no from me folks !

Good product
Awesome. Nice and long works well with my Samsung Galaxy s7 and makes my video's sound great. Not the best quality mic but for the money they're great. It's so nice having two microphones on the at the same time. Good way to sound professional without spending your money.

Long cable, cheap build.
It has a very long cable, which may be useful for a variety of uses, but it is made of cheap plastic and rubber. Won't last. The box is very small too. It came bulging and once you take it off, it is hard to put it back, so you'll have a very long cable to roll and keep it in a drawer until you need it.
