LAMY Z 50 Extra Fine Nib Set - Black

so far these are my favourite size nib. I have quite small hand writing so these nibs were perfect. the feel and feed back when writing is very good and adds to the writing experience. It's a very personal choice but I think they are great. I have never had and issue with ink flow, skipping etc. Just great value

Arrived quickly. Once fitted it just worked perfectly instantly. My old nib was obviously damaged because the difference with this new one is huge. Perfect ink flow without any priming. I wish I'd replaced the nib years ago.

I really recommend, I just bought another one Extra fine.

It looks great, well finished, went into a pen that I had dropped and broke the nib, well say broke, but in truth crossed the nib and broke it removing said nib...

I bought this to upgrade my Lamy pen to better fit my handwriting style. The nib is perfect quality and game changing, smooth to write with and looks great. I had a problem that the first nib sent got lost in the post and never arrived, the customer service department was amazing and got a replacement sent out quickly. Highly recommended.

Even the EF is more like a medium or fine. Better off buying a different pen that has finer nibs than Lamy. The black nib looks pretty sweet though

Bought for a Lamy Vista - Perfect fit Didn’t arrive in a blister pack but is stamped with Lamy and EF Black in colour Easy to remove my “fine” nib and replace with the EF nib - you literally just have to (gently ) pull one off and slide the other on. Lots of videos on you tube of how to do it if you get stuck. (Tip - do it somewhere where it is safe to spill ink, for example the kitchen sink) I found a definite difference in line width between my fine and this new extra fine as can be seen in the photo. All nibs/ ink feathered slightly in the width test but that’s due to the (non wood based) paper I used, not the nib itself. On the TR paper In my journal it writes perfectly. At first after fitting the pen wouldn’t write, I simply ran my finger down the top of the nib to draw the ink down and it worked. Comparison with others: The line width compared well with TWSBI EF and the pilot Kaküno F. Just a hair’s breadth thicker than the TWSBI and almost identical as the Kaküno.
