Question 1

Do these things really work?

Accepted Answer

I’ve been using it for about a month after seeing Peter Attia recommend an overpriced similar product called a black board. I think this is comparable to that product and do believe it works. It trains involuntary balance muscles and is quite challenging. On a good day I can balance 20 seconds without touching the ground.

Question 2

With the cutout parts on the flat sides these look uncomfortable for your feet to stand on. Are they?

Accepted Answer

Thanks for your question. Don’t worry till now nobody reported any disconfort on feet when standing on.

Question 3

How do these compare to the Black board balance trainers?

Accepted Answer

The Ankle Foot Exerciser is unique as it has the great advantage, compared to other balance board, to dissociate the hind foot and the front foot (which is not the case of the Black board balance trainers). As the mid foot is not in contact with the square, it will enhance segments strengthening too. When training on 2 dissociated unstable squares, your workout is exclusively focused on the ankle and foot.
To gradually strengthen your ankles and feet, just follow the instructions (warm-up, breathing, posture, daily progression) detailed in the Exerciser book. You will feel the burn after using it which means you are strengthening the weakest ankle and foot muscles exceptionally well!
Integrated into the ankle rehabilitation process by high-level athletes, the Ankle Foot Exerciser has been developed in collaboration with podiatrists and physiotherapists.

Question 4

Is there any weight limits to this product?

Accepted Answer

Thanks for your question. There are not any weight limits. Everyone can practice on Ankle Foot Exerciser whatever your weight, foot width, small medium, wide or extra wide. Have a good training !
