Review: Fantastic! - First off, I always find myself ordering cheap, ugly boots that fall apart after a month. So I finally saved up and dished out the money for a pair of these bad boys. I ordered the Captains in Tobacco, size 9.5 (normally wear 10.5). They fit well, and are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. They also look nice and offer good ankle support. I couldn’t be happier with them. Easily the best pair of boots I’ve had. Way better than the $175 Eddie Bauer boots I had a couple of years ago. Review: WOW!!! What a beauty - Having previously purchased the Explorer model, I can confidently say Thursday Boot Company delivers exceptional quality. Sizing: The recommendations are spot on—go half a size down. I did, and it was the right choice. Comfort: A bit stiff out of the box, but like my other pair, they’ll break in beautifully. If it’s stiff, it breaks in; if it’s soft, it breaks. Laces: Made from Kevlar—enough said. Craftsmanship: As someone meticulous about footwear, I found no flaws. These boots are sturdy, symmetrical, and well-built. Color: I worried they’d be darker than what I saw in the picture, but the Tobacco shade is accurate. Overall Value: Just get them. These boots are an investment—premium materials at a fair price. Unlike brands I’ve burned through before (timberland I’m looking at you), these are built to last. And yes, I’ve fallen in love with them (don’t tell my girl).
