Needed a replacement hose for my dryer after the old one started splitting, and I am really pleased with this one. It arrived quickly, well packaged in a sturdy box with no damage or kinks, which was a great start. Delivery was faster than expected too, which was a nice bonus. The hose feels high quality straight out of the packaging, thick, durable, and not flimsy like some of the cheaper ones I have come across. The flexibility is excellent; it bends easily where needed but still holds its shape really well, making it simple to route neatly behind the dryer. It fit perfectly onto my dryer outlet with no trimming or struggling required, and the connection feels secure and airtight. Functionality-wise, it performs exactly as it should. Airflow is smooth and efficient, and I have noticed the dryer running a bit more effectively since fitting it. It is also very easy to clean, as the smooth interior allows lint or dust to be wiped away without any hassle, which is great for keeping everything running safely and efficiently over time. The 3 metre length is ideal, giving plenty of reach without being cumbersome to handle. Perfect. Securely fits.

Positive: air tight,light and very flexible, reasonably priced. Very thin pvc skin, vulnerable to high (air conditioner) temperatures. I needed to get my 150mm air con unit to vent out a very small gap in our window, so added a 100mm converter and this hose and a square exhaust. The poor thing inflated like a party blower due to the high volume of air. The continuous heat from the air conditioner caused the plastic to stiffen up and the whole thing radiates tons of heat. So don't use it like I did as it will not be suitable. I would recommend this only if you have a gentle output of air, like from a dryer or extractor fan.

Perfect exactly what I wanted for my tumble dryer and also a very good price.

Great value for money however the performance could be improved as the thinness of the hose lets out heat. The hose its long, very flexible and easy to use. The material could be thicker and the metal coils stabilised somehow so they don’t come out. Overall an average performance.

Bought to replace the old vent hose from my AC unit that died last year, and was the right size at a reasonable price. Actually, no idea what this sort of thing should cost, but know there were some expensive options last time I looked. Made out of spiral wire with flexible PVC hose, so very 'malleable'. Only issue I had was due to this flex, as it no longer locked tight into the screw-threads on my AC unit (old hose was rigid plastic stuff that 'snapped' into shape) - but easily fixed with some duct-tape. #edit "Be careful" My AC unit came with a plastic hose that was maybe 5ft in length - and I was very happy about how I could move the unit further from the window, once I'd attached this longer hose. Then when it got hot, I thought my AC had broken. The compressor was making an awful noise, and nothing was getting cooled. The problem was the length of this hose (not the hose's fault) as it was way longer than what my AC had come with. Long hose, reduced the air my AC could push over the hot radiator, so it didn't condense properly, so pump was trying to push liquid and gas and really wasn't happy. Hose length you got with your AC has probably been worked as as maximum efficient length. I've just cut this hose down to 5ft, and my AC is now working perfectly. i.e. this is a great replacement for whatever hose length you've had that's failed - but I'd advise against using this to create a longer hose.
