It's easy to put on and take off and my little furbaby is very warm and comfortable in it. I like that the leash loops omit the need for a harness to go walking. Very secure and gives her excellent freedom of motion as she's very active. Be sure to measure accurately as listed in the size chart for the best, secure fit.

I bought a 5XL for my 52 lb pointer. She is very long and slender, and it fits her perfectly. This jacket definitely runs very small. She should wear a medium, according to other charts. I went by the size chart they provide and I'm glad I did. Be sure you go by the measurements on the chart, and if in doubt, go up a size if your dog is between sizes. You'll be glad you did. It's very easy to put on except when she keeps stepping out of it when I'm trying to get her to step into the other sleeve. That's just her though. The jacket is warm and fluffy. It's very lightweight. The inside is all black. The outside is 2 colors. I bought the pink/black jacket. We did use the rings for the leash, but for a short walk. I would feel more comfortable using her collar or harness because she has a tendency to pull and run.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like the look of this cute and sporty windbreaker jacket for the puppers. Simba is a 21 lb Chihuahua Lab mix. Based off my measurements, I figured my best option was to go with the 3XL. The chest area is a bit too roomy and will need to get taken in a bit (the smallest bit of roughhousing on her part will end up having both her front legs through one hole lol). Totally fine with the length since it covers her back completely when she lays down. With the zipper located on the back it’s easy to take it on and off without fur getting caught in it. I think the zipper is a little too small for my big hands, because I was struggling several times trying to zip it up.She seemed a bit unsure of how to move around in it at first. She’s used to wearing a harness on walks so it took her no time at all to get the hang of strutting around in it! It’s warm and very comfortable. She doesn’t pull or lunge after others often while on leash, so I don’t have the fear that the D rings will get ripped off the jacket. From the feel and thickness of the material, I’d recommend this as a fall/mild winter jacket, not thickly padded for cold winters.*UPDATE*After much good natured giggling and critique, I’ve decided to purchase the 2XL to see if the smaller size doesn’t “swallow her”. This one has a closer fit on her body, doesn’t leave a gap in the chest area, shorter raised collar so she can turn her head easier, and doesn’t turtleshell her back completely. Everyone else agrees this looks better than the 3X and will be returning it.

I like that its a harness itself and doesn't require a harness underneath it. It seems well made and will keep my frenchie warm. I don't like that the rings to attach to your leash are thick. My leash just barely closes and when it does, its a struggle to detach. I will need to buy a different leash with alarger clasp. I ordered a 3XL to accommodate the thick chest frenchies have BUT the length is too long. Frenchies have an usual shape making it difficult to find jackets with dimensions to accommodate them. I am keeping it though since I can't seem to find anything else close to this vest.

I have 7.5 lb short haired chihuahua, somewhat oddly shaped, hard to find anything to fit him well.The jacket meets basic needs, fits decently but the zipper is terrible and cheaply made. And D rings are way too big.Advertised as having ‘safe fur guard’. The fur guard was consistently getting stuck in zipper, especially at d rings, no matter which way I zipped it (fast, slow, tilting zip this way and that way). I finally gorilla glued the ‘guard’ to inside of jacket. The zipper still has to be tilted a certain way and zip or unzip at the d ring area, it almost always hangs up.I would not buy this again and I’d donate it if it was not so hard to find jackets for him.

I like that it is warm, step into, zips up the back, back clips for leash. Don't have to force a sweater overhead and try to stuff legs into openings.

My dog is a mixed breed and is around 12lbs but her back is around 13inches long from shoulders to base of tail. I ordered a large and it fit her great, with about 1-2inches of length hanging off of her. The D rings on the jacket are sturdy and hold up well, so you don’t need a harness if you don’t want to use one.The jacket is not fleece lined or puffy, and has a polyester type of lining. There is padding inside of it but it’s not squishy like a puffer coat. So if your dog is small or has a flat coat, I would recommend a warm layer underneath this jacket. However, there is almost no stretch in this so don’t bundle your dog up with something thick underneath, it won’t fully zip.The zipper is nice and sturdy and fully zips up the back so your dogs underside will be fully protected from snow and cold.It is also water resistant.

Got this for my dachshund (usually around 20lbs). Jackets are hard to find for him because he's long, and his chest is so barrelled. I believe I got the jacket in 2X and it fits him perfectly. It's a little big and loose closer to his back legs because of the way dachshunds are built, so occasionally some snow gets inside, but for the most part, it zips all the way up and is snug but not uncomfortably tight.On the way home from walks, my dog gets very excited and tugs, the rings have not shown any indication of tearing from this. Mind you, he's only so strong. Lol.The only issue with this, and it can at times be a big one, is that the sleeves are both sewn differently. Like the holes for his legs to go through are two different shapes and one paw keeps slipping into the coat. If he's running fast, or going down stairs or jumping out of the vehicle, his paw often gets stuck inside the jacket, causing him to fall on his face and paw when he lands. I do worry that this could cause injury, so we no longer put it on him if taking him to a park in our vehicle.

I ordered this coat because of the built in leash connection. I didn’t want puppy to have to wear an additional harness under the coat. It will work beautifully for that. It fits well and has good coverage both over her back and her undercarriage. As to the warmth, it's too early in the year at present to really say, its built like a puffy ski jacket, so I’m assuming it will be. The one thing I’m considering is to add fleece to the inside for additional warmth as we do long walks. My pup is a 10.5 lb ChiChi, I bought a large. Hope this helps!

Perfect way to not lose your little dog in a field lol! I get so many compliments on this jacket, even though it is obviously a little bit short on a dachshund. She seems comfortable in it, and I love that it has a zipper instead of Velcro, so she’s not going to wiggle her way out of it!

Love the fit and design, but is not water proof and is really better as a fall coat as it is not very thick.Ordered a second time and there was a problem with the delivery. Contacted the seller and they sent a new coat quickly. Thank you!

One of the few vests that has built-in D-rings so i don't have to use a harness and thread a leash trough a tiny hole. My pup and I both love the fact that she doesn't need a bunch of layers when wearing this. Also appreciate the fur protection at the zipper and that it fastens at the back. This vest is thoughtfully designed and looks great.
