SwimSafe Adult Earplugs for Swimming, Blocks Water, Small Ear Canals

I’ve tried lots of ear plugs for swimming, but these could be the best. Top notch quality, as you’d expect from Alpine. I was sceptical whether it would be possible for ear plugs to keep out water while still letting me hear sounds OK. However, these work surprisingly well. PROS . Probably the only ear plugs for swimming that let you hear people talk. Very clever! . High quality. . Good fit for people with small ears. CONS . Not suited to people with big ear holes :)

I’ve been suffering from recurring ear infections for well over a year now, that I get treated by the doctor, clear up and have returned within 6wks. I was advised to ensure I kept my ears as dry as possible to help speed my recovery and then try and prevent the infection returning. So! I purchased these to wear in the shower, especially when I’m washing my hair. They’ve not always stayed put or been the most comfortable - not their fault, one ear canal has shrunk due to the infections - but for the most part they’ve worked great in the shower. The return of the infections has been slowed down so I’m definitely happy that I purchased these water resistant earplugs.

I have tried a few different styles of earplugs over time and these are my favourite. They are smaller than usual though so if you are not a petite person you may find they disappear inside your ears. In my case they are the most waterproof earplugs I own and would recommend them, bearing the above in mind. I have bought three pairs now as they are the best of their type.

These are comfortable and seem to fit well if the dome is first moistened. However, I have lost two in quick succession during 45 minute lane swims (and they are not cheap). A better solution for me has been the more expensive Alpine Watersafe version which has a wing to hook into the ear; I have never had one of these come loose.

I cannot recommend these, I ordered these before going on holiday as I suffer with ear infections when water gets in my ears. They arrived and although look great and have a nice case for them. I tried when I showered and they seemed ok, a little water had seeped in by not much at all. When I first used them when swimming and more water was coming against them, it caused 1 to slip further into my ear canal and I was unable to get ahold of it to remove it, my partner tried too and still it slipped further in and was unable to be grabbed hold of, this was very painful and we had to get some tweezers to grab hold and retrieve. I will not use these again and will be searching again for alternatives.

Perfect fit

These are the fourth type of ear plugs I have tried. Simply want to get comfort and longevity in swims without having to stop and fiddle with them. So first use....lasted nearly a mile, comfortable and felt secure....but while other types you can feel slip due to the style and size, these disappear from your ear into the pool and due to being so small, and coloured white and blue they vanish from sight. So a rather expensive swim. They are also more difficult to use due to size....there is an applicator tool, but it doesn't really help. May be ok for those swimmers that wear caps or swim 100m-400m and then rest.

Una gran compra!. Después de el tercer par de tapones, por fin encontré unos que fueran cómodos, no lastiman, no se mete el agua y a demás no dejas de escuchar lo que pasa a tu alrededor (cosa que es funcional cuando estás en clase y el instructor te está hablando).

These take a few attempts to insert correctly. Now I can put them in easily and quickly. I don't use the tiny tool to help. They really work. I haven't had water in my ears in weeks. Sound is really diminished so people have to talk really loudly to me when I wear them. The small carrying case is nice, too.

Bin auf diese Ohrstöpsel beim Schwimmen angewiesen, da ich meine Ohren (besonders im Urlaub im Meer) anfällig für Infektionen sind. Habe in den letzten Jahren mehrere Brands und Non-Brands versucht, aber die Alpine sind definitiv die besten! Halte bombenfest (auch bei Kopfsprung ins Wasser), sind ausreichend wasserabweisend und doch kann man etwas hören. Da sie sehr kompakt gebaut sind, sieht man sie auch kaum während des Tragens. Sehr dezent! Toll! Lifehack Tipp: Ich hab die mitgelierte Aufbewahrungsbox direkt am Badetaschengurt befestigt. So geht (wirklich kleine) Teil nicht verloren und die Stöpsel sind sofort auffindbar ;)
