This little stone is actually pretty great for heavier blades and general field sharpening it's not amazing quality and you can't get a super fine edge from it alone but it's pocketable and perfect for things that hack, slash, smash and bash.It's also pretty great at reviving things because while it's small the rough side is a pretty efficient way to remove damage. It'll also remove the hooked burr that develops on a brush cutter blade, saves you getting hung up as often.Get it if you murder greenery or you knife your vegetables instead of slicing them.

This item is very good quality and will last me a lifetime I believe. However it is very small as the discription suggests. I don't know if I paid too much for it and I am not going to look! If you want to spend more time looking for a sharpening stone you may get a better deal. I am very happy with it despite my fears over the cost........

Ok product not worth the money it's extremely small

A very handy piece of kit and it arrived early as well!!

I bought this item believing that I would be able to sharpen my various assortment of knives etc. I failed to check the dimensions. This it far too small to be safely used to sharpening anything other than very small tools. The worst of it is that the grades do not suit the descriptions. These should be classed as "course" and "medium". Be warned...

Saw one of these on Gardeners World. Just what I wanted. I can't maul with great big things. This is nice and small and light and has sharpened all my garden tools easily and well.

useful pocket size stone which I use every two to three days it works well and seems to be good for most general jobs where a small stone is required
