The perfect smart tv for an older user
Purchased for my mam (late 60s) as she enjoys using the streaming apps on her phone or tablet but with her eyesight worsening I wanted to get her an easy to use smart(ish) tv. Tv arrived packaged well. The initial setup was super easy. It did require setting up a free Roku account to use the App Store but this only took 1 minute. Weโre based in Ireland so it was great to get Irish apps like Rte player and NowTv on it quickly. Also super easy to remove apps which she would not use. The main Home Screen is super easy to navigate and she picked it up immediately. Itโs less cluttered than more smart or premium offerings so perfect for an audience like this. WiFi connection proved no problem and itโs quick to connect to her hotspot when she uses it. Volume is incredibly high (which suits her) - I would say the video mode is eco friendly I believe when you first turn it on, but you can simply select other modes. I think we chose a vivid mode and the colours were punchy and bright going forward. Highly recommend for older users for the ease of use without the fluff.

Great value TV
I bought one of these for my kitchen. When I saw how good it is, I bought another one to put in my bedroom. I've put it on the kitchen wall and the other on its own stand. Easy to set up and great picture.

Very good value television, dreadful audio, Apple TV app is great for Apple users
First to briefly review the picture quality - this is a very nice television, with no complaints concerning picture quality. I think only someone accustomed to much more advanced TVโs (e.g. OLED) would find anything objectionable about the picture quality, but as I am thankfully not that person, I am absolutely satisfied. I was however quite taken aback by how poor the audio is. I have upgraded to the 43โ RCA from a 32โ Samsung which was 10 years old, and am astounded by how bad the audio is. Obviously it is not strictly a โdeal-breakerโ - it has not been quite bad enough for me to send this back (which would be quite an inconvenience). But if you want better audio quality, I would not be surprised if you could find a slightly more expensive TV that would nonetheless be cheaper than combining this with a soundbar. To put things in perspective, I connected the TV to my tiny (also 10 year old) UE Mini Boombox (via my Google Chromecast, which supports bluetooth), and my tiny ancient speaker had FAR better audio quality than this TV. I mean, bass, treble, overall clarity, you name it. So if you do get this, you may want to consider aftermarket speakers, if you do not already have some. As for the operating system, there is a huge bonus to any Apple users, as the Apple TV compatibility means you can cast to the TV directly from an iPhone, iPad, etc. Earlier, using a Google Chromecast on my old TV, I could not do this, even after Iโd paid for an aftermarket screen sharing app. With that said, owing to the absence of a voice remote for the Roku OS, I usually still use my Chromecast (which, again, can connect to bluetooth speakers with no audio delay - this TV does not appear to have bluetooth). Hope people find this helpful. The photo is the TV, with an episode of Dutch Bushcraft Knives via Chromecast, and my tiny bluetooth speaker.

Value of Money.
Good product. App selection and setup not so user friendly.

Wont work without internet.
A horrible TV. It only works with an internet connection for a start. It has a naff fuzzy picture - no clarity or sharpness. It's only possible advantage could be that with the internet, you can get more channels. But I don't like it.

Lightweight, great colours and black levels, superb audio for size and full featured Roku
This was the third TV I picked up to use in our caravan. I'd seen the good reviews but I'd always been put off by that '720p' label - but I gave in and thought I'd give it a go. So happy I did - this thing is awesome. It's probably me being a nerd about the 720p thing - in practice you don't notice it. The image on this thing is really crisp - no ghosting/motion blur etc. The colours and the black level are amazing for this price - it almost looks HDR to me. Audio was surprisingly good too - very clean and there's some bass in there too. We'd previously just been using a laptop plugged into the caravan's stereo to watch late night/rainy day movies on our excursions but with this TV the audio is plenty loud enough. Talking of watching media - this is running the Roku OS so it comes complete with a great media player app. MP4 and MKV containers play and scrub flawlessly (I haven't tried AVIs though as it's not 2002). One tip - when you are selected your media source i.e. USB drive etc, when you have the device highlighted press the asterisk button (*) on the remote to bring up the menu. Here you can change between grid icons and a list view - the latter being much more useful to see the titles of your media. I'm not a big TV viewer - but set up was very simple and seemed to work well. Important to note is that you do need to register an account when you set this up which requires an internet connection. You don't need to provide payment details. It's a very lightweight unit - perfect for mounting in a caravan if that's your thing. The 'stand' is very cheap and cheerful plastic legs but they are quite stable once attached. Very much recommended - don't let the 720p label put you off!

Easy to set up
So happy with this TV it took about 10 mins to set up and that was mainly putting the legs on. Screen quality is fantastic for the price. It has 3 hdmi ports so you can set up multiple devices, the volume is very surprising as it goes really loud, and it's loud even on a lower number which is great and I find myself turning stuff up constantly. Would recommend if you want a basic smart TV, it connects to to WiFi really fast, and fits so well onto my small dresser
