Great book
I can't believe it. I ordered this on a Sunday afternoon and it arrived on Monday morning! And regular post too! Great book, not a classic, like Shockwave, 1988, 100 Nights, etc., but a good visual document nonetheless. Great photos by Derek Ridgers who was there when it was all happening, at the Roxy, the Vortex, etc., and captured the moment. Yes, we have seen them all before, but its great to have most of these pics in the same place.

Great book with beautiful sombre pictures. Would have appreciated more of a write up for each pictures but maybe that’s been lost to time.

Punk pictured when Punk was still Punk
A fantastic book for those who can read history in photos. Very impressive pictures covering the Punk scene of 1977 - just like I witnessed it. The relevance and impact of the Punk movement is documented superbly. Punk surely took the world off its hinges for a while. After the Merseybeat revolution in 1963/64 it was the only time that youth culture threatened the establishment. Goodness, I wish those days would return. Everything these days is so irrelevant.
