Can you use a regular pen to write on this tape?

Yes, you can easily write on it. This tape works great and does not strip from the roll even with small children using it.

Also would it last a month on high traffic floor? i mark model & prop positions in busy nyc art class studios, most tape wears off too quick. thanks!

I'm not sure it would hold up on a high traffic NYC floor - BUT - I can tell you it's very adhesive and sticks to virtually everything! One thing you might want to consider is to put the tape down and then cover it with clear packing tape. It might last all year if you do that. I pity the janitor that has to pull it up though come fall when the floors are redone.

Unconventional application, but has anyone used this in place of blue painter's tape? It's the same price and the asst'd colors can be helpful.

I have not used this as painter’s tape, not directly. But have used in on painted and unpainted surfaces to separate colors with success. It is high quality tape with excellent adherent/release properties. Now my own question: If all you want is blue painter’s tape, why bother with these colors? This is not your cheapest alternative. Buy blue tape.

Any feedback on using this tape on a whiteboard?
