great!
It arrived quickly in the christmas rush. I have used one before that was excellent, but as this was a present for someone else, I can only presume this one is the same.

Compact and great service.
Arrived in great time, slight slip up as the description said a roll of film would be included, this never materialized but I contacted the seller and they apologized as this was a mistake but are sending one anyway. Camera is cute and compact, it feels a little delicate but good fun camera to experiment with.

Action Sampler - Taking Good Pictures
Essentially this is a toy camera but you can get unexpected and excellent results from it. Unlike Robert's comments, I think it's generally fine in use, so long as you shoot with high iso film, 400 asa or higher is ideal, higher is better for low light conditions. Yes it's almost entirely plastic, but then that's it's charm. Shoot things that move or move yourself during shots for the best effects.

Junktastic!
The lomography action sampler is a poorly made, highly marked up, piece of plastic junk. I've given other lomo products a lot of leeway given that we're not going for super-pure photographic imagery here, but this item is simply very poorly made and in my case, didn't even last the first roll of film. The low-tech four shutter triggering system seems to be driven by a spring which resets when you wind the film on, which would be fine, if the entire mechanism had any type of quality control whatsoever. In my case, one or possibly two of the shutters get triggered then it whines to a pretty lame sounding halt... After then winding the film on, it will most likely try and trigger again, wasting another frame of film. The photos on lomography's website for this product look great, but I wonder how many rolls of film you are expected to waste (and remember, you have to buy the film and also pay to develop it), before you get even 1 decent shot.Utter junk, avoid!
