There is a great range of machines to build
Bought as a present for a lego mad 8 year old. He loves it.The fact things are remote controlled is a huge hit. He can follow the instructions and build the machines himself, although I'm occasionally needed to push parts together (as I am with lego). There is a great range of machines to build. He started with the bull dozer- which is surprisingly powerful at pushing things around. Next project will be the robotic arm.There was a fault in one of the electrical parts, but this was dealt with quickly by the seller, so I have left the review at 5 stars as their service was excellent.

My eight year old really enjoys playing with this. He did need a little help with a few bits though..When running the remote control work well, however we did have a few problems with wheels coming off, these are not designed for off-roading, just for a nice smooth floor.Plenty off models to build and will teach him some basic mechanics

Better than Lego - great for kids
Good value and tonnes of options for building. This takes the lego concept to the next level. Really great item. Our 7 year still playing with it since Christmas

I really like the concept but many elements of rather poor quality ...
I really like the concept but many elements of rather poor quality and may put off the smaller children a bit. I still find it a great toy.

Big hit, keeps them busy and thinking too...
I gave this to a bright 6-year-old who enormously enjoyed making cool remote control machines with a bit bit of help from his 8-year-old brother. Occasional troubleshooting from an adult was needed to keep the robot arm working smoothly, and to gently explain that it can only pick up very light things. Both kids absolutely loved it and it was a real hit.
